I can't vote but I'm putting things out there in hopes that the people who I know are typically Republican can see just why they should either not vote at all or vote for Harris. Most of them are women in their 40s and 50s, and even just pointing out that their own parents might lose their Social Security or Medicare, thus the daughters having to financially support them, is something that can make a difference.

Why can't you vote? I thought you're still an American citizen. You don't have to answer. I'm just curious. My various fb expat groups of women are filled with people trying to vote.

I just saw where the actor Mandy Patinkin asked his followers who are Rs and who are voting Harris/Walz how they came to that decision and how can they/we talk to other Rs about making the switch. Plan to reshare any good advice he gets.
I know that it's close. So close that small poll swings are all in the MOE. But I'm terrified that the small swings we're seeing are all in that jackass's favor. No, I know nothing about data science and cross tabs and sampling errors, etc. But I do understand addition and subtraction and trend lines. Harris addition: good.
It's insane to me that it's getting tighter the crazier he gets. I hope she wins. I am putting that out in the universe. But either way, half the voters in this country are fine with a drooling dictator or his Darth Vader running the country. What the actual fuck.
I have done the things I can do. I will continue to do them. But I still feel scared and out of control. And I hate feeling helpless.
How annoying would it be to see a car driving through your neighborhood that reads, "VOTE Colin Allred. Defeat Ted Cruz!" on the back window, and then KH flags flying (like the little sports window flags).
On the back windows - low voter turnout keeps republicans in office. Also on the front side windows - free METRO transportation to VOTE.
I can't commit to door knocking because my schedule is unpredictable the next 2 weeks. But I could mark up my car in this manner and drive it through low voter turnout neighborhoods that lean blue, stopping to talk if anyone is interested. Most of these are predominantly LatinX and Black underprivileged neighborhoods and I'm a middle aged white lady in a blue subaru.

I'm not still a citizen and haven't been for a long time.
I'm a poll worker. I do enjoy it and know that it's important, especially for people my age to start getting involved in this, but it also bums me out that I can't give rides to voters; that's what I would do on Election Day if I weren't working the polls.
Otherwise, I've donated and bought merch from a vendor who claims 20% went to the campaign. Wrote postcards. Going to sign up tonight for calling/texting.
I've donated, bought and worn official campaign clothing, and I have a yard sign.
I also helped register a handful of voters experiencing homelessness (though one was a Republican, so boo).
I am also working as an election judge, though that is non-partisan so I am not sure if it counts!
I really don't feel like I'm doing enough, but I truly hate receiving calls/texts/people knocking on my door so I really struggle signing up to do those things. I've made calls in the past and it has felt very pointless (nobody answering the phone) so I am not doing that this time. Everyone has been complaining about the number of texts they are getting so IDK. I feel like I should be doing more.

Yeah I get that. That's probably why I haven't texted/called yet this year; I have a hard time believing it actually does any good. I even wonder about post cards. But then I always come back to, "Well, I guess if it didn't work, they wouldn't keep doing it." I hope that's true.
Last night I was in a group that texted local Democrats who had opted for mail-in ballots, just checking in to see if they had any questions about the process. Almost all of them had already mailed back / dropped off. That was encouraging!
Talking with all of my daughter's friends who are 18 and reminding them to vote. I'm also writing Postcards to Swing States which are due in a few days!
I have donated to both Harris and down ballot races. I have a yard sign and a magnet on my car. The magnet triggerred someone to write "FU" on my car right underneath it while I was at Costco. I am canvassing next Saturday and Sunday. I have already voted, @@@@@@@@@ as have both of my daughters. My youngest niece has voted, as have her parents. My parents have voted.
I currently engaging a friend (we are in a swing state).
She voted Trump in 2016, didn’t vote in 2020 and hasn’t decided if she is voting this year. She is a teacher and a veteran so I’m trying to focus on things that are relevant to those identities as well as a woman and mother. I want to give her all the info without overwhelming her or coming off pushy and losing her.
