(If anyone ever needs help getting care for themselves or a loved one please message me and then we can move the discussion to Signal. Know that there are always options.)
Ok all the resources in the abortion support resources post are still valid. But I wanted to make a separate specifically for direct action/donating money specifically for abortion care and gender affirming care. So please put your money where you mouth is and DONATE. If you donated to the Harris campaign donate at least that amount, if not more, to one or several of the resources below. Many of us/these orgs and activists have been prepared for this for YEARS. We are continuing to learn from other countries where abortion and gender affirming care care are completely banned and have been that way. We are not going anywhere. Mutual aid and community care will continue to keep us safe.
People in all states are able to get pills by mail. There are medical providers mailing pills to all states, often for free. There are also community support organizations mailing pills to people for free. Obviously none of this is actually "free" and these organizations need all the dollars they can get. There is also a large ecosystem of medical, legal and emotional support that is supporting people who are self-managing their abortions at home. So here is a list of orgs that you can visit their websites to learn more about them and most importantly donate to them so that they can DIRECTLY provide abortion care to people (as opposed to donating to planned parenthood where the money doesn't go to direct care).
These places are mailing pills to people in severely restricted and banned states:
To find your local abortion fund (funds the procedure) and practical support organization (funds traveling) - abortionfunds.org/ and apiaryps.org/
Other orgs that are supporting people who are having abortions and self-managing, specifically in banned states: Provides free medical information staffed by volunteer medical providers - mahotline.org/ Provides free emotional support - reprocare.com/ Provides free abortion doulas and herbal support - www.holisticabortions.com/ Provides free legal support and bail to people who have been put in jail - www.reprolegalhelpline.org/
Trans/Gender Affirming care info -
For those that don't know, gender affirming care is banned in several states for minors. People are relocating. Just like abortion care, people have been and will continue to self manage their gender affirming care.
These are organizations that are providing direct support to people to either get their gender affirming care or relocate

wanderingback, I'm going to a community meeting for those interested in/worried about women's reproductive health the first week of Dec. Would it be ok with you if I printed out your post to share at that meeting (will leave off screen name/board name, just the text of the post)?
If you could only donate to one of these, which one would YOU choose?
Also, are you familiar with SisterSong? What is your opinion of them?
If you want to help people directly get an abortion I’d donate to 1 of the medical providers mailing pills. They charge $150 to cover the cost of the meds, mailing, etc but often people can’t afford that so they send the meds for free. So anything to help cover those costs is helpful.

Chiming in on the abortion funds, many of them are making preparations for what is to come ( and have been preparing for this outcome) and will continue to operate . I am also available to help if you need assistance or know someone that will need assistance in obtaining abortions, healthcare or gender affirming healthcare. This work is so incredibly important so please continue to donate!
A quick plug for wanderingback 's gender affirming care resources.
Gender affirming care is not just for minors. Trans adults are the primary recipients of gender affirming care. Proper treatment often involves regular, longterm cross hormone treatments (and possibly blockers for those with naturally occurring testosterone). Timeliness and access are crucial and can be difficult in some places. Societal biases** against trans adults mean they are often less able to afford this lifesaving care without assistance. (and it is lifesaving. Both because of suicide rates and violence.)
(** The level of hostility against trans individuals becomes starkly obvious when you notice most longstanding non-profits that support trans kids are actually anti-homelessness organizations. Because that is where trans kids traditionally land).
