I'm glad I never read anything about having a baby before I had one because all that is a big fat no.
After, when the midwife was prepping the suture kit and filling a syringe with a GIANT needle with numbing meds, she was going on about how “vaginas are so resilient” and “this will heal up wonderfully” and “you won’t even be able tell a difference” etc.
And I was like… at this point, you’re not going to tell me otherwise even if it’s the truth, so… how much can I really trust you.

Omg, she’s perfect! Congratulations!
And the almost instant reflux/heartburn relief is SO GOOD (along with being able to take an actual deep breath). All I wanted was orange juice after my son was born. Lol

Hahah, when they would walk me to the bathroom (because I kept fainting) they would be prompting me to take deep breaths and I was like “I am!” and then would realize I was taking a pregnancy deep breath and actually had about 6” more lung available now. Amazing.
