I love that she is going to have to visit chicken houses and cattle yards. She's going to look as uncomfortable and out of place as the lawyer in Erin Brockovitch who shows up to a ranch in a skirt and heels.

I just assume she'll spend the entire time getting tax payer funded trips to "check out farms in Europe" to see how they can help us improve aka just go on vacation.

Going to be verrrrrrrry interesting to see how The Orange One's main policies interact with corporate Ag. If Elon wants to slash spending, Ag subsidies will have to be on the table, and the last Trump tariffs caused the farmers to complain about China slapping tariffs on pork etc.

On the Native Land Podcast Andrew Gillum said he went to college near him around the same time and crossed paths with him. He was trying to be very careful with his words but he said all the rumors you are hearing, if they are true, this behavior started a long time before he got to Congress. Gaetz had a roommate die under suspicious circumstances and it was never properly investigated or reported on.

There could be a very long documentary about the Gaetz accusations and he’s 42 years old…

ETA: After all of this, I heard his statement that he was not coming back to Congress next year. That was a question since he resigned his current role but had been re-elected for next term, so Yay 🙌…but he also said it was to spend time with his family…?!!!! Apparently Matt Gaetz is MARRIED!?? which I feel like I’ve never even heard mentioned in all of his scandals. His wife is the sister of one of his major donors, a younger VR tech guy.

Back to playing the game of Is it incompetence or is it an elaborate plan? I feel like getting rid of Gaetz solves a lot of issues for Mike Johnson but now he’s short a vote and it sounds like he won’t have a replacement until Spring!
