Good news: We have a start date for the (hopefully) last of our demo to fix the crappy work done - this Thursday!

Bad news: They're using the same guy who did the crappy work to do the demo.

Better news: A real plumber will be doing the repair work and not the crappy work guy. Yay!

Now here's hoping it's done before Christmas. LOL

Yesterday was a big day for us. My son has had a dream for the majority of his life and has worked so hard to make it happen, he committed to play D1 baseball yesterday!! He is a 2025 and we didn’t think it was going to happen given the craziness of the recruiting landscape right now.

The best part, he got almost a full ride between the athletic and academic scholarships. And the school is only an hour away from me!

Is the lining fuzzy? Now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve had a lined rain boot before!

I would say it’s between shearling and felt. It is fuzzy, but the lining isn’t super thick.

So exciting! I played a D1 sport in college. It was such a time commitment but was the very best experience.

These go on sale often. You can't kill them. I wear them around the barn, cyclocross races, and errands. They do tend to run a little hot, so they aren't the best in the middle of summer.
