Family board/card games

Every year it’s tradition to get a new board game to play on Christmas Day. We prefer shorter and easier games to play with minimal set up. Any recent favorites that a teen may like?

Farkle is pretty fun and good for a range of ages. We've also had a lot of fun with Sushi Go or Sushi Roll.

I love Munchkin, which our 9 year old can play too.  (5, not so much.)

There are a bunch of versions.  Conan is my favorite.

I just got the Sound Game. we played it last night with our 12 and 10 year old and they loved it. Can't wait to play it during the holidays with my nieces and nephews.

Pass the Pigs is always a hit.

Splendor is a more strategy vs. party game. It can be played in about 30 minutes.

Phase 10, Skip Bo, Scattegories are our top games for older kids. And classic Uno.

These are our faves, too, along with Yahtzee. DD loves Monopoly but I don’t, lol.

My kids love Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. It's fun and a fast game play. I always take it with me when we travel as a way to fill time without screens.

Looking on Amazon, I see they have expansion packs so that is going in someone's stocking this year.

Uno, Phase 10, Exploding Kittens

For Xmas we just got a game called Klask. We played it at a brew pub a while ago and it was a lot of fun. We got the 2-person version.

Not a traditional board game, but jackbox is really fun. My teens, and the whole family love it.

We recently got into Jackbox as well. It is for the Nintendo Switch and you play it with your phones. We have Jackbox Party pack 3 and love to play the Trivia Murder Party and Quiplash. Also great for adult game night.

We play Pass the Pandas.  I wonder if it's the same idea?
We also like Codenames.  Telestrations is a lot of fun for up to 8 players.  It's like whisper down the lane but with drawing.  Someone just sent us Nertz, which is a lot of fun and good for up to 12 players.

ETA: It looks like I'm in the minority but I hate Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza.  Also, a more family friendly version of Cards Against Humanity is Left Unsupervised.
