I sooooo knew Arizona lost her leg!!! I just remember it being really bad in the accident. It just kinda makes sense. I'm irritated that they took the flashback route. I will really miss Mark.

The storyline with Mark was really sad. He was a great character.

The Arizona part at the end shocked me. I, too, was having trouble remembering what happened on that chaotic last episode. So, I definitely was not expecting that.

I didn't read any of the spoilers so I had no clue who was leaving/who was staying. I was so sad this whole episode. geez. I didn't remember about Arizona's leg - I thought she died.. the whole mark situation killed me. Definitely cried over that one.

I wish they would of started where they left off last season, DH & I kept looking at each other and asking if we missed an episode. I think it's weird that they are now going to go backwards when we already know the outcome for so many.

I'm going to miss Mark & Lexi so much. Sounds like Arizona is pretty pissed at Cali, I'm thinking Arizona didn't want her leg gone and Cali did it to save her life.

This was me. I started crying thinking they killed her off. And when they showed her in bed I was relieved she was alive. And that was quickly followed by, !

Me too. I had to double check that it wasn't a 2 hour premiere & I missed the first half.

I wish Mark & Lexie were staying. I don't care about Arizona or April, they should be the ones to leave.

I think as soon as Cristina gets the courage to hop a plane she'll be back at SG.

Did you see the previews for next week? It showed Arizona frantic and all distraught grabbing and Cali and saying. "Promise me you won't let them take my leg!" She must have had to make a tough call.

It was a nice premiere that achieved the goal of creating interest for the next episodes but I don't know if the season will have enough fresh storylines. After 9 seasons I'd hate seeing the show lose quality.

I just don't feel like investing in the storylines of the interns, so I hope they won't be front and center.

Oh, it lost quality long ago. 2 words: ghost sex.

And 2 seasons ago they had that awful multi episode story line about Derek's trial, and there was so so much wrong with that. I'd have a fit every time I watched, yet I'm still a sucker.

I'm glad others cried like me! I get that mark was leaving but it was still super sad. And I didn't think Arizona had died, but I didn't expect the amputation and am annoyed that the one who championed everyone else is acting like that. I'm hoping it won't be a super annoying storyline. I do like that Alex is staying.

Of everyone, Owen went to try to get April back? And how did Christina end up in some touchy-feely program? Didn't she visit and get a sense before she took the position?

Wasn't the old guy who shared all those stories the same guy who grilled her for her boards? I presume he recruited her.

I forget what she was considering doing at the season finale, but I imagine a crash changed her plans, and this might have been the only offer left.

Anyway, previews imply that next week is the in between episode that we missed.
