I'm still here...

Hey you all,

I am still here, we got back from a wonderful vacation last Saturday (it feels like 3 months ago though) and I got back to my temping and stuff.
I have been reading a bit and posting a tiny little amount, but I've been totally preoccupied with other stuff.

Monday, as I got back from vacay, I learned that I am going to be laid off. It's a very weird deal/system, where it might possibly take a maximum of 27 months before they actually give me the boot, but eventually it will happen so I better find another job before then. Getting my resume up-to-date and stuff has obviously been my main concern these last days instead of the fun posty stuff.
We haven't given up on TTC, but I'm a little weirded out about that, because I know that if I get KU it means that I'll either be interviewing/trying to get jobs or just accepted or started a new job, which really doesn't improve chances of a great career. Andplusalso maternity benefits in NL might be awesome, a lot of them are only valid if you've been working at that company for at least a year, so I'd likely not get anything besides the legal amounts (which is still generous compared to the US, but nothing like what it could be.)

Anyways, figured I'd let you know what's up and why I'm not posting. Between last month's bleeding issues and this months crappy news, I'm just not in the chattiest of moods.

Ugh, that sucks, but at least you get some advanced notice! I hope you find something you really love soon.

Plus, you're pregnant for nine months, so you really only have to wait three months once starting a new job before TTC again (silver lining?)
