I've been lurking here for a few months and decided to come out of the dark. I hope you don't mind me joining you all.

I'm 28. DH is 38. We have been married for over a year now and just starting to try. We live in New York. I work as a EMT for a busy ambulance company. DH is a workaholic and works too many jobs. We plan on only having one child, but one never knows what the future holds.

We only want 1 child because DH is worried about his age. He may change his mind after we have the first one.

DH is in manufacturing full time and does fireworks professionally on weekends. He is also assistant fire chief for our area.
