Who else thinks the man in NYC at the beginning of the episode is Rumple's son?

I think the guy in the beginning's a secret serial killer who hates vampires.. wait no that was True Blood. Lol. Am I the only one who was slightly bored? I recorded it so I'll watch the whole thing later, but gave up after 20 min. One thing that really bothers me is Rumple and Belle, I was a little grossed out when they kissed, it just doesnt seem right lol.

I do not think its Rumples son and I definitely do not think its Henry's dad.
I think the guy in the intro is the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland because of the Easter eggs in his room.

That's funny, I didn't notice any eggs in his room. Guess I'm not as observant as I thought...

If you click the link I posted they have the screen cap picture with everything labeled.
I was a die hard LOST fan so a lot of the recap writers are too and they really look for hints left by the writers that also wrote for LOST.

I agree, I couldn't watch it!

I was kind of meh about the episode too, don't really know why, I just wasn't on the edge of my seat excited about it. Hopefully it will pick up. I'm still longing for the original Sheriff to come back in some regard, I lurve him

makes me think he is tied to the Mad Hatter in some way.

I have a general question about Once Upon a Time --

There are a lot of characters in the story that are just Disney characters, as far as I know, like Mulan. Is this something that ABC can do because they own Disney? Would any other network be able to use the characters?

Regarding the episode, I liked it. I can imagine it would be difficult for Emma, Mary Margaret, and David to deal with the sudden change in their relationship and I was excited to see that. I'm also interested to see how Regina handles MM and Emma being gone.

Also, does anyone else think taht Phillip may be able to come back? I got the sense that he wasn't truly dead.

What do you mean would other networks be able to use the characters? To make their own shows?
They would not be able to use the copyrighted characters like Chip, Mrs. Potts, Mushu and so on. The fairytales in general, yes.

My guess is Dr. Whale is Robin Hood because he said "You're not my prince" to Charming when he asked Dr. Whale who are you?

Yep - sorry I wasn't clear. If another network wanted to do this show, they couldn't use the Disney-specific characters. Thanks- you answered my question.
