I was just reading your blog post. Wow - what exciting news! I'm sure the move is going to be overwhelming, but just wanted to wish you all the best in the next chapter ahead of you!!
Ooh fun! Let's make guesses. I'll start. Umm California! Exciting and also scary to start over with a little one. You're a strong family though, you'll be amazing no matter where you are.
Thanks, ladies. I'm super sad to leave NYC but like I said, we've been talking about this for a long time. We had actually planned to leave this past summer but after Ellie was born, it would've just been too much too fast so we postponed it a bit.
Sara, it won't be California. Our final destination is still up in the air, but I would place strong bets on somewhere in FL (not ultimately the Tampa area, but somewhere in FL), or somewhere along the east coast from D.C. south. We'll be in St. Pete until next summer for sure though!
I hate to be so vague both on my blog and here, but the biggest thing of all is that all this is due to a major career change for my husband - soon I will no longer be a lawyer's wife! I'm so excited about that because he HATES being a lawyer so this will be a wonderful change, I think. But, my vague-ness is just due to the fact that some of his coworkers read the blog and we're not yet making this public knowledge so long as he is still employed there for a couple more months.
I'll definitely keep you guys updated as we figure stuff out!!!

Deciding to leave such an awesome city and the amazing experiences you've had behind must be very tough, but I'm excited for what the future holds for your family. When I read your blog post, I was hoping the move had something to do with a big career change. I know you've been saying for a long time how unhappy your husband has been as a lawyer, so it is wonderful you guys are taking this big step!

MrsMew- one thing is for sure... You and your family definitely live up every opportunity in every place you are at. No doubt where ever you end up, you will make it your home.
Best of luck on the big change.
In the meantime, enjoy St. Pete and I think a GTG is in order.
I'd be excited to meet you, too! I don't read your blog very often, but let me tell you the pictures of Ellie falling asleep? I died from the cuteness. Seriously, I am a zombie typing this.
(Psh...What do vegan zombies eat? GRRRAAAAAIIIINNNNNSSSS.) Hehehehe

LOL! Nice.
Thanks, everyone - I'm excited to meet you all too! Finally, I'll be in town for longer than a weekend so I'll actually be able to see people aside from family. As soon as I get down there and settled in we'll have to plan a GTG!
