Speaking of him, we went to the Brothers of the Sun concert this summer and the girls in front of us had somehow met Tim McGraw earlier that day (I'm not sure if it was a meet and greet or what).
They thought he was high or something. They said that he was so out of it that he could hardly speak or form coherent sentences.
I think Tom & Rita and Goldie & Kurt are reasonable bets. Does it have to be a celebrity married to another celebrity? Meryl Streep has been married forever, but as far as I know her husband isn't in the biz.
Someone will make it. Even a 90% celebrity divorce rate means 10% of marriages will survive. Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward made it 50 years until his death, after all.

For those of you who think they'll last, is it because you think they actually have a good relationship or because it's a foolish business decision to part ways?
There are always a ton of blinds about how unsteady Affleck & Garner & Gwen & Gavin are, so I'm really surprised to see them listed here.
I could have sworn Goldie and Kurt Russell already split. ??
For me, I'd be really bummed if Kelly Ripa and her husband split. I like her a lot.
Maybe you're thinking of Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins? Although if this were a few years ago I would have bet on them to stay together too. So yeah, any prediction is backed by the knowledge that celeb relationships rarely work out. It just seems like once you get to 30 years, what haven't you worked out? Oh well.

i think it's because you reeeally want them to last, so that you don't feel duped.

I guess I like to remain foolishly optimistic that there are some people who can sustain a marriage for a lifetime. It has nothing to do with business.
And ditto Affleck and Garner - I don't read the blind-item sites but I don't see them lasting.

I've heard from someone "in the know" that he (and Faith) REALLY like cocaine.
I am never surprised when celebrities get divorced. What surprises me is that anyone expects anything else.
This. Really, I'm not surprised when any couple gets divorced. Unless I'm super close to both parties, I never assume I have any idea what their marriage is like behind closed doors.
