Are we going to invite the Bump over here?

When the Bump boards convert to the new format next week, are we going to invite them here or let them fend for themselves?

I'm trying to create a refugee plan for a Bump board that I post on (Working Moms) and I'm wondering if I should post a link to this site.

I was lurking on one of the Bump boards and it was mentioned about our migration here and whether they could join us. I like the idea of having them here. I think the month boards might be a bit much though.

I like this too. I go to Working Moms and Parenting occasionally and would like to stay connected, but I HATE the millions of board off-shoots.

If someone wants to create a bump board we can make a custom header that links between them. That's what we were going to do here before someone had the brilliant idea to combine all the boards.

What if the mods create a GBCB board on the main page, and all of the bump boards can be offshoots/sub-boards? Would that work? Then you wouldn't see all of the Bump boards and have to scroll through them all.

i think they would have shit-fit if they were relegated to sub-boards. someone creating a separate GBCB board and linking is a better idea.

I've been working with a couple people for the break from IFV. I'm fine with combining IF and IFV again but I know some people aren't. I'd also be fine if SAIF/PAIF re-combined but even that might not go over well. We already have a bunch (too many) FB groups and i won't post on them because of some bad blood for me personally.

I'm a fan of having a set up like GBCB and then linking to back to this set of boards. I have no idea how to do that though.

Ok, whew.... it's set up. I think you have to go over to the GBCB board and set up a new account, but it can be the same name/password as what you use here. I posted a thread in the "General board" asking for mods... if you want to mod a board, please let me know. I don't think I can add you until you create an account over there.

Can we cut down on the number of boards? I think they are spread way to thin.
