cd1 question

Good morning!

I want advice/opinions please - I am supposed to go get blood drawn on cd3 for testing. I started spotting Mon (small amount) and went into a normal flow period Tues. Would you consider Mon or Tues to be cd1? I can't decide if I should get blood drawn today or tomorrow. Thanks!

CD1 is generally the first day you need some sort of protection. If the spotting on Mon was minimal, I would consider Tuesday CD1.

CD1 is the first day you have bright red flow. Was your spotting on Monday red? And did it require a pad/tampon? If so, then it is cd1. If it was just brown spotting, then I'd say Tuesday is your cd1.

Filling a pad or tampon is when you account for a day 1. Sound like tuesday for u not monday. But if your using an RE they may had specific guidelines (ie a certain amount of spotting by a certain time in the day like the need to change a liner by 4pm). If not using an RE then the basic principle is "flow" anything you can say is a "flow" not "staining/spotting" is the day 1.

Agree with the others. If you need a pad or tampon, it's CD1, if you can just wipe it away, it's spotting and the end of the previous cycle.

Thank you ladies! Yeah it was def just a few spots, some brown some red (TMI I'm sorry lol) so I guess Tues is cd1. I'll do the bloodwork tomorrow!
