Oh no! That is sad. I am sorry
DS says "mama" but he mainly says it when it comes to food. I am not sure whether "mama" means me or food. I guess we are often the same thing. It is cute regardless!

1. Ds was "nursing" this morning. Except he kept stopping to smile - with a mouthful of boob of course. And then he'd see me looking at him and he'd smile wider. The cuteness would make me smile. Then he'd see me smiling and would laugh. Rinse, repeat.
It was a great bonding moment. Not very successful at filling that belly though
2. I had a dream last night that I didn't know I was pregnant. I was on the floor with ds playing, when I started suddenly feeling kicks. I shouted to dh "omg I'm pregnant!" And then woke up. Now I'm all paranoid and plan to pick up some dollar store tests later to (hopefully) put my mind at ease
DD started smiling and cooing a lot this week and they seem to be intentional. It makes me melt every time. She is 5 weeks today and has grown out of 2 newborn-sized sleepers so far. I love that she's interacting with us more but I don't want her to get any bigger! waaah.
DD (13mo) weaned herself. She's all grown up. She doesn't need me anymore.
Aw, she still needs you, but it's still sad
My random is that the guy at my dunkin donuts has given me a large instead of the medium I ordered 3 times in a row. I used to really love that dunkin because a) I can walk to it and b) it's owned by a young couple who clearly work their asses off. They're there almost all the time, and I know they have a young kid because the wife worked until she was very pregnant. I'll correct him if I see him with the wrong cup before he starts making it, but otherwise I just suck it up and pay for the large.
I order decaf, so that's not a big deal, but I switched from Splenda to sugar in an effort to curb my artificial sweetener intake while BF. and I know the large has a lot more sugar. FTR, me not finishing the whole cup would never happen
That was long. In other news, it's a perfect day outside, and I'm sitting in the park with baby asleep on me in the moby. Bliss
I know I've said this before, but I Love this age! Today at the park dd left her playgroup friends, found a quiet spot with a few sticks and played with them for 15 minutes. She cracks me up!
Also, I finally joined the modern world and got an iPhone. MM because my dad bought it for me as a push present...well, really he bought it so I would take lots of pictures of DD and send them to him. He keeps telling me it's DD's phone, not mine. Either way, not complaining!

I wouldnt know you were pregnant if I just met you Jenny. Confession - last night my sister insisted on skyping. We havent done that in months. I assumed she was pregnant. Then I saw her and almost asked because she looked thick in the middle. Um, no. She lost 17 lbs. i am glad that I know to never ask.
My period is a week late. I'm still BFing, so I guess my cycle is just screwed up. I bought a pregnancy test today at Target and took it right away in the bathroom. Despite the fact that I DO NOT want another baby right now, I was almost wishing the second line would pop up just to add some "excitement" to my life. That sounds so pathetic, I know!
Also, DD is so cranky most of the time. On the rare occassions she's in a really good mood, she is SO fun. But most of the time, I have to work to keep her happy. I was watching a YouTube video of babies cracking up at dogs and it just made me sad because I've never seen DD that happy. I hope she will be a happy toddler.

I forgot I wanted to update about the mom who showed up at preschool orientation barefoot.
Yup, still barefoot. Yesterday on the playground after school she was trying to get her kid to put on his jacket because of the cold, while she walked all over the mulch completely barefoot.
H is going OOT tonight for a boys' weekend and I'm going solo w/ Little E. I am strangely excited by this...I've already planned meals out, a trip to the mall, all with my little guy. Should be super fun (and a lot of work, LOL).

I kind of like when DH goes out of town, too. We get into a little rhythm and I get to enjoy COMPLETE silence after they go to bed. I also like that the kids and I think cheese, crackers, and fruit is a perfect dinner.
I shouldn't complain, but I am *tired*. Only two hours of sleep between LA and Paris and I still have a flight to go. Yeah, I get two weeks in Europe, but I'm gonna be beat before I start!

I told someone at work that DS had this for dinner at least once a week and she looked at me like I had two heads. It's quick and easy with little cleanup. Heck DH sometimes has it too minus the fruit

DS has 4 teeth already, and I think 4 more (!!!!!!) just popped through, but he won't let me see them. He clamps his mouth shut as soon as I come near it. Smart little guy. He's also been asleep in my arms since 12:45 (almost 2 hours). LOVE IT.
