There is no awesome center. I'm at one of 3 (2 church run, one secular center with two locations). It's $135/week for an infant, but yeah, nothing to brag about. They keep my kid alive and call me when they notice the babysitter I hired to pick him up leaves him standing next to her in the parking lot while she installs a car seat.
Closest thing to the OP. It's a chain, but there aren't a ton of locations. The kids rotate through learning centers throughout the day once they reach 18 months. Math Lab, Kitchen(where the kids learn to help cook), Reading Corner, Computers, tennis courts, water parks. Menu consists of meals inspired by fancy hotels. The one near me was $1600/mo for infant care including diapers.
I worked at Creme de la Creme when I was in college. I remember that it was over $1000 a month then - in the mid 90's. We had a splash zone with water sprays, kids started French at 3, etc. Unfortunately, it shaped my view of what a daycare should be, and I have been nothing but disappointed since having to find one where I live now.
Not only are there no awesome daycares here, there are none with websites! Ours gets a mention on the church website, since it is at a church, but that's it.
