I need prayers ladies. My little sister (yes the one that drives me nuts and I bitch about) is in the hospital. She pulled over to help someone who'd gone off the road into a ditch, got out of her car, called 911 and then another driver lost control and hit her. They are running tests to figure out exactly how she is doing. So far, hairline fracture in her pelvis concussion and bruised ribs.

argh... damn it. I might not LIKE my sister all the time, but I LOVE her. Stupid texting driver!

I hate, hate, hate stories like this--when a good samaritan gets hurt. Your sister may drive you insane sometimes, but that's family! She stopped to do a good deed and was hurt as a result--that sucks.

Got to talk to her last night. The kids all asked her if she "really got runnded over by a car" (very sensitive children I know).

She was in good spirits, but can't remember much after calling 911 and getting out of her car.

She fractured her coccyx, has a hairline fracture in her pelvis, a few broken ribs and got her bell rung really good.

They are hoping to be released today.
