DH an I finally agreed on TTC.

We decided to late in the month for the this month to really count as I was already past ovulation for this month.

It's funny how before TTC I would have freaked that we had unprotected sex an could be pregnant, no matter the time of the month. I knew there was no way that I could be pregnant but I was still very sad when AF came yesterday.

I know this is just the beginning of our journey an this is not a "works overnight" thing, I'm just happy to have finally agreed with DH on trying!

The thing that's going to make this hard is I don't work in the same town we live in. I work 2-3 weeks out of town for every 2 weeks I am in town. So at this point we aren't going to be temping or using OPKs. If we don't get a BFP by the Spring we are going to look at me going back full time to my part time job I have in town. (Only work the job while on my time off from main job)

I'm leaving today for 2 weeks an according to my phone app (I know it it isn't 100% accurate, I mainly use it to track my periods since going off BC) says I'm ovulating 2 days after I am scheduled to come home. Maybe we will get lucky!

If you haven't already, we all suggest reading Taking Charge of your Fertility (tcoyf). It is amazing and will teach you so much about how our bodies work. Also, Fertility Friend is a super duper helpful website for those ttc. Good luck!

I have not read the book but I have read a lot on FF website.

Ill have to see if the book is in iBooks.
