Do you/your partner plan on being a lifer in the military or in it just for now? Late last year we seriously discussed this being H's one and only enlistment. I think it was just a rough patch with lots of things going on, frustrations, etc. I think he will end up being a lifer.

Salty or sweet snacks? Sweet AND Salty! I am all about some chocolate/pretzel cookies.

Favorite drink (alcoholic or not if you dont drink)? Water right now, it gives me the least amount of heartburn. Wine (red being my favorite) when I am not pregnant.

Dream vacation? A month long vacation all over Europe, with the kids. If we had no kids, or could get away from kids/work/etc for 2 weeks to a month then I'd do a week in Greece, on a beautiful beach, hop over to Ireland for a week, back to a beach (Fiji, perhaps?) and then H would insist on a week long cruise to a tropical location.

Who is your cell phone provider? AT&T. I'm still super bitter that we don't have our unlimited data plan for iPhones anymore.

What has been your favorite birthday (of yours?) This is really sad to say, but none stick out thus far. All have been very pleasant, no bad memories. But none that make me think "best day ever".

Do you/your partner plan on being a lifer in the military or in it just for now? Meh. MH would like to be, although his career field is possibly going to undergo some RIFs soon, so he doesn't know. He would try to switch to a different career field if that happened. If/when I join, I probably plan on staying in if I enjoy the work- especially if MH is staying in.

Salty or sweet snacks? you know what's good? something sweet, then eating something salty. Like chocolate and popcorn. but generally something sweet.

Favorite drink (alcoholic or not if you dont drink)? I used to always say amoretto sours, but I generally drink red wine- like a cab sav or pinot noir

Dream vacation? Right now, we would love to go on a Mediterranean adventure. I'd love to visit all the continents actually.

Who is your cell phone provider? Verizon- I've had them forever and never had a bad experience. Actually I used to work at State Farm, and I got a discount for being employed there. I still get it, they never took it off. Its better than their military discount.

Blue or black pen ink? I prefer blue ink, but the last few places I worked have a no blue ink policy. Which is sad. Also, blue ink makes it easier to identify the original copy.

What has been your favorite birthday (of yours?) hmm... I guess I'll say 26- we were in TX and my local aunts and uncles and my friends and I went on a winery tour. It was a blast.

Tell a fun fact about yourself. My family has "the list" which is our grudges against people posted in a cabinet in our kitchen at home. You can be crossed off the list, but never taken off the list. Its powerful stuff, man. People/companies on that list have gone bankrupt or out of business, I think a lady got deported, DIA changed their parking payment towers. Don't mess with the list!

What has been your favorite birthday (of yours?) Last year, I think. Total yarn-fest, with DH playing along the whole time. Went to a book signing for a knitting author I like, toured the yarn shops in a town a little ways from here, and DH did all the driving so I could knit while we were out and about. Heaven.

Tell a fun fact about yourself. I have a knitting problem. The yarn stash is large enough it spooks the packers when we move. I'm not sure what I'd do if I ended up accompanying DH to Korea, because there's too much of it to bring all of it, and I'd want climate controlled storage for it... On the other hand, this knitting problem also means that DH had enough hand-knit socks he never has to wear the nasty army issued boot socks...

What has been your favorite birthday (of yours?) K came home from deployment on my birthday one year. That was pretty awesome. Otherwise, meh. Growing up we didn't really celebrate birthdays, and K and I don't really do anything for them now either. Well, we do for Bean, but not for us. I actually get a present this year though! I'm excited.

I come from a very small town in the Midwest so until I was a junior in high school we were the Belles and Rebels, complete with Confederate flags waved on the sidelines whenever our team scored. A nearby school, our main rivals, were the Yankees. Midway through football season Junior year we played an all-AA team from Chicago. And wouldn't you know, they weren't too crazy about mascot?

News stations rolled into town and people were all "We don't understand! We're not rascist! It's just a flag that we're proud of for some reason we don't remember!" All the flags had to be painted over pronto. The year after I graduated they consolidated and became The Heat.. with flames for mascots.

Tell a fun fact about yourself. People often think I'm adopted because my sisters are all well over 6' blondes, and I'm a 5'7 brunette. Like complete strangers have asked us several different times over the years if I'm adopted. It's weird. Also, I can make my tongue touch my nose.

Tell a fun fact about yourself: I'm an extremely extremely extremely fast talker. Like, even by northerner standards. It really throws people off down south. Yet, when I'm in a session, I can control my speed really well.

My 21st. H made it really special and put a lot of effort, it was sweet. Other than that, my 16th. I went to NYC for a shopping spree and got to ride in a limo with my bff, mom and aunt. It was awesome.
