My husband sucks at keeping secrets. I got home yesterday, and he told me he'd chatted with his childhood best friend for a long time that afternoon. Ahhh ... that's great. Then he procedes to tell me that he told his buddy the name we picked out for our son. I can't say I'm surprised, he's the type of person that wants to give me my birthday present three weeks early, because he bought it, and he'll tell me what it is if he waits, but ... grrrh.
A friend of mine gave me big bag of clothes yesterday, and I had fun going through them. I'm picking up more from another friend tonight. It's amazing how nervous I was a couple of weeks ago that I hadn't done anything, and now the items we have for him are starting to fill up our guest room.

So excited for you ladies!!!
Kennedy is walking!!!! Like more than just a few steps. She's up to 25 steps at a time, and she usually sits down on her own. But she won't keep socks or shoes on, which is a real issue since we're moving, in like 27 days to a considerably cooler climate, where socks and shoes are a must. She made a new friend in NC last week and they are completely adorable.
Caleb is huge. Like 14 pounds already. It's ridiculous. He's still at an age that I need to be able to carry him in the infant seat but it's getting hard, especially carrying a 21 pound toddler at the same time. Aside from being huge he's smiling and cooing up a storm. His smile melts my heart as much as Kennedy's.
My DS wont keep his socks and shoes on either. Every morning I get him ready for daycare and put his socks on and just put his shoes in his school bag. That way before we get out of the car I can just put his shoes on. Well this morning he had taken his socks off and put them in the cup holder. Little stinker!

I had my first prenatal visit, and it was a really great appointment! I had an ultrasound and got to hear the heartbeat, which getting to hear the first time is every bit as amazing for your third pregnancy as it was your first one. It was confirmed by the ultrasound I am only 9 weeks along, as I suspected, and not 11 as my LMP would suggest, making my due date 5/28.
My nausea has subsided a lot the past few days (yay!) but my insomnia becoming my biggest complaint. Being wide awake for hours in the night, combined with Maisy's early morning wake up calls have been rough. Even though I go to bed pretty much right after the kids do, I'm not getting nearly enough sleep, and I'm feeling pretty fatigued. With my first pregnancy I had insomnia issues nearly the entire time, but with my second, it was mostly just in the beginning, so I'm hopeful it won't last.
Aegis I'm so glad things are coming together for you. I don't remember if I commented on your blog, but your to do list gave me a panic attack, lol. That's like a 20 year list for me. It's probably good for you to concentrate on stuff like that but enjoy this time too, you're almost there!!!! (I'm so excited if you can't tell!)
Our sickness is pretty much gone. Amelia is about 100% and I'm about 90. It's just a sinus infection that won't quit and even though my congestion is almost gone I'm still feeling it in my teeth when I walk on hard surfaces, 4 days into an antibiotic. I think I need to take better care of myself. I eat pretty crappy and don't drink enough water and I need to remember I'm still nursing.
Amelia is awesome though. We went to the fall festival with Melis74 and her smiling little peanut and had a great day! Amelia is very adventurous and was climbing them like she had no fear and she got to make a new friend! Usually she keeps an eye on me at all times but I was watching her let me get out of her sight and she's pretty darn confident for such a little thing. I think she might have taken her first step last night but it happened so fast I'm going to sit on it for a few days before I decide if it was a real thing.
All's well here. I'm done with ultrasounds and my cervix has been cleared for competence. Yay! I have a routine appointment today, and Lily is coming along. I'm a little scared to step on the scale this time -- I was doing so well with eating well and whatnot until the last few weeks. Ugh.
Lily has been getting more excited about being a big sister; it's been really fun to watch. I still know this is going to be a hard transition for her, so I'd love to hear any advice.

So happy for all you preggo ladies! Its so fun and goes so fast!! I think you should all post bump pics!!
Things here are good. Getting back into a routine being back to work. The weeks fly by. Excited to go up north for Thanksgiving but scared for all of the stuff we need to bring! DH's mom is crazy though and has basically bought everything we will need in terms of diapers, wipes, clothes, blankets, etc. So hopefully it won't be tooo bad. I will take any travel advice anyone has though!

I have no experience, but a blog I read did a post on traveling with a baby today
We are in a fun phase here, while Mia used to like being on her changing pad and playing, talking to me, etc now she screams bloody murder as soon as I lay her down. It's sad, frustrating and a million other things all at once. Please tell me this phase will go by quickly. Other than that she's doing great, sitting up like a champ now!
Mia loved going to the fall festival w/Sara and Amelia. I can't wait until Mia is that active, we had a lot of fun.
Loska - We have flown with Mia twice, both times she did great. I brought lots of distractions but she pretty much slept most of the time. My pedi said to let her suck on something during take off and landing, that seemed to work. We bought diapers once we got to our destinations vs lugging a bunch with us. I over packed on clothes both times, but I wanted to be covered just in case. Good luck, I am sure he will do great!

Alzi props to you for staying team green. I would love to but at the same time DH would NEED to know and wouldn't be able to keep the secret from me.
T is doing great. His walking is getting smoother and smoother. Took him to the pedi yesterday for a diaper rash and it ended up being a yeast infection and likely came on from a milk allergy (or intolerance, we haven't done testing yet)
Pregnancy wise I'm 13 weeks today-hoping the honeymoon phase comes sooner rather than later. Although I am grateful to be expecting again. I am thinking about formally announcing on FB but want to do something cute. I am hoping to do something over the weekend as our way to announce.
Madeline is 3 months today! I can't believe how fast the time is flying. She is constantly laughing and smiling and is loving life! She is beginning to gain weight like crazy, but who wouldn't after downing 6.5 ounce bottles. I'm still pumping at work and it is actually working out really well. My second goal was to breastfeed until 4 months and I am well on my way that I am making my next goal six months. Madeline is going to be baptized on Sunday. I'm really excited because I am so in love with her Christening dress and little pearl bracelet. It will definitely be a special day!
MacKenzie is doing great as well. She is going to school three days a week and really enjoys it. She has a few little girls in her class and she loves to talk all about them. She is such a social butterfly. She is also obsessed with Halloween and cannot wait to go trick or treating. It should be a fun time!
Both girls are doing good. We had our first parent-teacher conference at Juliana's preschool yesterday, and her teacher said that she has transitioned well in class and has done good with all areas of development. I think she's starting to "like" (I'm not prepared to call it a "crush') this boy in her class. She talks about him all the time and asks for him like 10x a day. This has, of course, made H feel very sad and concerned. She's also getting more and more sassy everyday...OMG, the sass! Yesterday, I couldn't handle it anymore, I just left H in charge of bath time and bed while I went to the store and got me a bottle of whine, lol!
Sophia is becoming a talker and a charmer. She likes to sing...a lot! She's also starting to learn how to walk up and down the stairs with help. She'll be 18 months in a few weeks but it seems like she's showing early signs of terrible 2's...she throws more temper tantrums and they're more intense. Another reason for mommy to drink wine.

Oh my god, with Beckett getting more and more attitude and sass by the minute, and Maisy just starting to have little tantrums, you have no idea how much a miss wine! Drink a glass or three for me
