I thought the same thing about the tomato soup. Seems like the perfect thing to make yourself (along with grilled cheese) on a rainy day. But if I had her money, I would order it too!
I'm more bewildered by the people in this post who seem to believe that this was a documentary as opposed to a scripted advertisement, or that Zooey wrote the script herself, than I am by friggin tomato soup. I'm waiting for someone to say "ok I called Apple to see if she at least got a grilled cheese with it. Will update when I hear back." lol.
:Y:
Yeah, some people are taking this wayyy too seriously. LOL.
Siri sounds so sarcastic when Zooey looks out the window AT THE RAIN to ask if it's raining. I always expect Siri to say, "Yes, it appears to be raining, Stupid."
I also wondered if Zooey would need to order something else along with the soup. Most delivery places by me require a $10-15 minimum for a delivery.
This commercial made me crave the tomato soup when I went to Trader Joe's (which, FYI, is very good). I'm not home today or else I'd be having that and grilled cheese for lunch since it's raining.
Nor am I. Kim&Dan, do you disapprove of all delivered soups, or just tomato soup specifically? Or is it that you don't understand that in some cities, there are delivery options beyond Domino's pizza? I'm really curious now.
There are hundreds of restaurants that deliver to my home (and certainly not just Domino's) but I have a problem with it too. Seriously -- just soup? Do the restaurants near her fake house not have delivery minimums? If I tried to pull that shit, any reasonable restaurant would hang up on me.
Also, do hipsters really listen to "Shake, Rattle & Roll?" (That's a real question -- do they?)
of course they do! it's item # 237 in the "hipster handbook." ugh!
i love all of you for participating in this thread and a special shout out to my fellow zooey (god i hate typing her name, it's zoe!) dislikers
hmmm, not only do i strongly dislike the zooey commercial, i'm also not a fan of the samuel l. jackson one. ... maybe i should save that for the next unpopular opinions post?
I don't either. I feel like he is about to have a creepy night alone with his cellphone.
Everytime Zooey moves her eyes, I want to seriously slap her. I hate her bangs. I hate her voice. I hate her pajamas. I hate her dancing. And yes, I hate her tomato soup.
I would rather sit next to Gwyeneth Paltrow on a flight to Australia than be in the same room as Zoooey.

I thought it was cute the first couple of times, but it's starting to get annoying because I see it so much. I like the Samuel L Jackson one more (and I see it was less).

I hate the Sam Jackson one too. Especially the peppy way he says risotto. I like his pretend kitchen though.

And seriously, who serves risotto AND gazpacho? Bah!

I hate that she is standing by a window and still has to ask "is that rain?" in her incredibly annoying "quirky" voice. I know it's just a commercial but look out the damn window!
