I need to find Lila a Christmas dress. It needs to match these shoes (she is being Dorothy for Halloween):

Yes, it's for Christmas photos I have been searching everywhere and can't find anything that I like. I found this, but I think it may be sequin overload b/t the shoes and dress.... and I am not sure that I am crazy about the dress for her.

Somehow, I missed your response before I posted the same dress above. I think the colors would match but wouldn't it be sequin overload?

I love the satin dress that you posted, I don't know how I missed that one. It doesn't look like a true red dress though, and these shoes definitely are :/

Yes, I looked at her dress last night and while it is red, it isn't RED red. The other one would match perfectly I think, it's just a matter of how many sequins are too many? lol I think it's cute, but to me seems more like a dance recital dress than a Christmas dress, kwim? Can you take her to the store to try it on maybe? Or I guess you could always order it and then return it if you don't like it.

H said he liked the dress, so I went ahead and ordered it. Their return policy said that I could return it to the store, so I went ahead with it Hopefully it works out.

If memory serves me right, the red in that dress is a darker red. L's shoes are seriously fire engine red. Almost so bright that its verging on orange.

I have always loved those dresses though. I bet A looks like an angel in it!

OMG... where were you a few days ago!? Their dresses are SO stinking cute. Luckily, we have an Old Navy right down the street. I am going there tomorrow. Her other dress isn't due to arrive until Wed. ^o)

I read this the other day but oddly enough had nothing to contribute. With the upcoming move I hadn't thought about Christmas, especially since I don't have a photographer there yet. But then I saw them in Old Navy Yesterday and had to buy them.

I went today and the one dress was a prefect match. It looks too much like a summer dress though. I am going to wait and see how this other dress looks. I may just give up on reusing these shoes and buy the dress that I fell in love with at Target.

Thanks! I like that dress too, but it doesn't match the shoes. There is actually a black/silver/white plaid dress at Target that I am in love with. I may just give up before this other dress even arrives from TCP.
