I'm waiting for H to get home from work early so we can go check out the 2 daycares I have narrowed our search down to. He only went with me to one so far and it was neither of these. Hopefully we will make a decision today. Choosing a daycare is so stressful! I have asked friends, coworkers, facebook, looked up reviews online, etc. I've narrowed it down to these 2 for a few reasons... they were both clean (duh), within 5 minutes of our home so easy for H and I to drop off or pick up, located in decent neighborhoods, good security -- exterior doors locked, had to be buzzed in, good curriculums, neither of them used stationary toys like bouncers or exersaucers so I don't have to worry about him being stuck in one for hours or something.. Anyway they are both very similar. One I got a really good feeling about a little bit more than the other, but the other was recommended by a friend who loves it -- wahhhh my brain hurts.
Anyone want to share why they chose whatever daycare they decided on?
It just felt "right" - I'm so helpful Seriously though, it was a gut instint. Obviously, he's not here yet, so who knows if that feeling is right, but it's how I chose.
Alzi - I was dropping off a couple of pairs of my husband's pants at the tailor this afternoon - the plaza across from the Publix/Blockbuster/McDonald's plaza this afternoon, and saw there's a daycare back in there too (right near the Barewood furniture). I know nothing about it, but that's not too far from your house if you're looking for another option.
