I will have to see if I can find any pics of mine...
I was just thinking the same thing! And I love the flowers.
Aww, thanks, ladies! I was actually "meh" about it until the wedding itself. I got it from Target.com on clearance before we were even quite engaged. I'd gotten a MOH dress from Mizrahi's Target line and knew I wouldn't need alterations, so I couldn't pass up the deal. And in the end I did love it; I just hadn't had the confirmation experience of comparing it to other ones in a bridal shop.
I adored my flowers, though. I didn't put that bouquet down except to eat. ;D

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!! You got that dress from Target??? I'm shocked. It looks like an expensive dress and it fits you like a glove!! gorgeous!!
Since he hasn't officially put a ring on it (we are designing the ring) I get to dream through the powers of the internet. My entire wedding is planned already, trusty Pinterest has this documented!
This is the dress I am lusting over
I'm short and busty and we are doing a country/outdoorsy style wedding.

We had a bit of an untraditional route, but I loved it. Wish the sky would have had some visibility though. That window is supposed to look out onto Manhattan - we were on the 70th floor of the building.

My fave pics are not from the wedding...
This pic kind of shows you the detail of the back of the dress which had light aqua embroidery which flared out towards the bottom and buttons all down the back.

Your dress is really pretty! Definitely something I would have tried on if I saw it at a bridal salon when I was gown shopping.
Helllooo, 2006. Styles sure have changed lol. Every single wedding I've been to in the past year has been a lace mermaid....regardless of whether the bride's body would look better in a different style, which is sort of sad I think that Pinterest has caused its own Stepford bridal culture.
I think styles cycle in and out. In 2004 I felt like the only person who didn't have a strapless dress. Wrap waists and corset lacing were all the rage (I did have both of those). In the 90s it was all about puffy sleeves and mega lace. In a few years it will be something else. It's part of the fun. ;D
