What size shoe

Amelia is going to need winter boots in Feb to go to NY and play in the snow. She will be just over 14 months. There are some that look great in Zulily but I know nothing about sizes. She still goes barefoot. Is Zulily a bad idea since they can't be exchanged or are the sizes pretty standard?

I have never ordered from an online website for shoes for LO. Maybe take her into Stride Rite and have them measure her. That way you can get an idea. My DS is 15 months old and is wearing size 4 right now and we bought him size 5 for the winter as the shoe lady said their foot changes size about every 3 months.

Mine are in about size 5 right now (almost 17 months old). ITA with lovethesun. Get her size at Stride Rite (there is one near the food court in the Westshore Mall.) IDK about zulily. We found shoes at Old Navy/Bealls Outlet/etc. Since shoe sizes changes so frequently, I buy baby shoes as cheap as possible.

Also try once upon a child (there is one on Kennedy and Westshore next to a place called Gogo's Greek Grill.) Everything is sorted by size and there might be things that people from up north sold to them.

I would definitely wait to buy her the boots until closer till the time she'll need them to make sure you get the size she'll need. (And as PPs said, get her measured.) I remember that around 12 months M was just outgrowing a 3 and now at 19 months, she just started wearing a 5, so I'm sure she must've been a 4 at 14 months.

I would say a 4 or a 5. Make sure they have a zipper, some boots are extremely hard to get on.

I was thinking these in a 4 but since you can't return there I feel like I could be throwing money in the garbage bc if they don't fit that week we will never wear them. I guess I'll just wait until its closer and spend a little extra to make sure I get her so etching that fits.

I'm no help w/the shoe sizes, but speaking of your trip... We are going to Chicago in December so I bought Mia a big coat and mittens on EBay. You are welcome to them after we get back if you want them. It's a 12 month size.
