La Leche League meetings

What are these typically like? I'm thinking about going to the New Tampa one later this month ...

Yay! I go to the Brandon meetings and we just have the chairs in a big circle. People bring their kids so it can get kinda noisy, but that is just how LLL meeting are. We rotate 4 different topics each month:
„Z Advantages of breastfeeding
„Z Preparing for baby, childbirth
and the new baby at home
„Z The art of breastfeeding:
avoiding and overcoming
difficulties
„Z Nutrition and weaning

The leaders usually make up cards and people read off of the cards with various issues and we dicuss them. Then people ask questions about any concerns/issues they may have. You can also stay after the meeting and ask the leaders or other members questions/socialize. I love it!
