Like one of the PPs, I wish H didn't ask me what I wanted for gifts all the time. I wish he paid more attention to what I talk about, things I'm doing, what I'm looking at on the internet, etc. I too though am grateful that he thinks about getting me something, though, regardless of where the idea comes from. Just a bit of a bummer that my relationship ideal--that he'll figure something awesome out withOUT asking me--just isn't ever going to happen. I guess I'll have my short pity-party-for-one to mourn the loss of this ideal and then move the fuck on.
Hey, it was fun to see that I typed out the word F-U-C-K and it didn't get censored. Awesome!

I'm feeling like superwoman today. I'm seeing patients, refinancing my mortgage, smoothing the handoff of DS to my grandparents who are visiting, and making dinner reservations for DH and I to go out to dinner to celebrate me passing my boards. Everything's coming up Milhouse! ;D
On the negative side, the toast on this turkey club sandwich I got from the cafeteria is toasted so crisply that I'm cutting up the roof of my mouth trying to eat it.

We say this to our dog, Milhouse, at least three times a day. Excellent reference.
I had to put my cat in time out last night. Now I have to finally read that Cat v. Cat book and maybe get one of those plug in things to calm them down. We were hanging out in the bedroom after work and they don't like change. They flipped out! Noah had Apollo's fur in his mouth when we found him and I almost cried. Then it was so hard to lock him up his time out only lasted like 5 minutes. Cat parenting is hard, ya'll!
We're having some cat issues too. I am going to pick up that book - can you link me to this plug-in device? Thanks!
I was thinking about something like this but I have to read the reviews before I pick one:
I really hate when people AW every single little thing during their pregnancy, especially all over FB. I'm pretty sure when the time comes I'm not even saying I'm pregnant on FB, one day I'm just going to be like "hey, I had a baby."
I get some sharing, I just don't get the need to constantly overshare.
I have a friend who posts every day - "the baby wanted pancakes for breakfast", "only 34 more days until we know if it's a boy or a girl", "the baby wiggled, or maybe it's just gas" - I finally had to block her. All of these posts were complete with pictures.
I'm totally pulling a tosa if we ever get pregnant.
-The moths have invaded my office and it's gross. There are like 10 dead moths in the bathroom
Ugh. This is my life, only the moths are in my house. Bugs flying around while I am sleeping is pretty much my worst nightmare. I don't know what to do to make they go away.

I am not overweight, but I'd like to lose 5-10 pounds and be "thin" again. I tried to start dieting, but I was having a hard time. My husband said he'd rather have me happy than lose that weight. So, since then, I've been eating like a big pig. I am planning on trying to eat better again starting next week, but right now, I'm totally taking what my husband said to the extreme. Food is yummy, but I feel guilty at the same time.

i got 6 yards of mulch delivered last night (happy mother's day!) and i can't wait to get home and get dirty. I also plan on letting the kids climb "mount mulchmore" and play there if they so choose, because i'll be able to get more done if they find it fun.

Since moving 2 weeks ago, we have cooked a real dinner exactly once.
Tonight, we're planning out our trip to the "city" tomorrow. By "city," I mean "slightly larger town." We're mainly going because we need to make a Lowes run. We have to plan this out because we used to end up at Lowes 5 times in one weekend if we were working on something. We can't do that now that it's an hour away instead of 10 minutes.

As of today, we only have 4 more weeks of school! And one is the state test, two are finals and the last week doesn't really count for eighth grade (which I teach).
My boyfriend sent my mom a mother's day card which arrived today. Mine is sitting on the floor of my car waiting to be mailed and since they live multiple states away, there's no way it will arrive until next week. Oops!

I did that on FB and was glad I did. Most of my FB friends either knew or wouldn't care I was PG. When I announced his birth I got a few "WHAT?" comments but IMO it's better than the overshare annoyance I see so often.
I've decided my new favorite cocktail is a dirty martini. Didn't think I liked them all this time, but little did I know. I love my new job as I now have fun young coworkers to go out for happy hour with!
