1) Cycle 10, 4 DPO 2) vents? Not really - just waiting. 3) my mom's loaded mashed potatoes - They are basic mashed taters w/ Cream Cheese & Sour Cream mixed in, then they are put in a 9x13 pan, covered with pats of butter and paprika & baked in the oven. Runner up would be her cranberry orange relish on a dinner roll. YUM!
1. Cycle 3, CD31, haaangin out waitin for AF as mentioned in my rant post. lol
2. Just what I already posted about likely missing all of my fertile days because temping did JACK for me and I didn't use OPKs.
3. If we're talking legit cooking, I make a mean stuffing that I can't imagine Tgiving without. That said, I seriously freaking love me some canned jellied cranberry sauce. If it's not a log with ridges from the can, I'm NOT interested.
1) Where are you in your cycle/ttc journey? Waiting for ovulation, I'm on day 12.
2) Any AWs/vents? I'm still "fresh" off bc/learning my cycle and I have no idea when it's going to happen. I'm trying opk's for the first time, but I'm worried that I'll still miss it somehow. At least my temps are nice and low...
3) QOTW - What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving? Mac and cheese casserole, which is my nontraditional "must have"
2) Not so much. Ummmm let's see work is very stressful and I cannot wait to cut back my schedule and be more of a housewife again. I took on too many classes this fall!
3) STUFFING STUFFING STUFFING. And apple pie that I make with my mom; we cut out mini cookie cutter leaves of pastry to decorate the top of the crust

1. Cycle 15, cd 3 2. Taking my first dose of Clomid tonight, mixed emotions of nervous about taking a new medication & all the monitoring that goes w it combined w feelings of negativity and I am just wasting my time. I hate getting my hopes up 3. Stuffing fo sho!!

Me too!
Haha! Me three! I LOVE that stuff! Check out this silver cranberry server I got at an antique shop a couple years ago - I chuckled all the way to the register that cranberry jelly from a can was legit enough to have its own silver serving utensil! lol It was just $6 - I couldn't not honor my favorite pectin substance in that way
(So sorry it won't rotate - Photobucket's rolled out an apparently unsuccessful update.)
1) Where are you in your cycle/ttc journey? I'm not sure. I think AF is coming soon, but I don't know when it came last. I will definitely make sure to track this one!
2) Any AWs/vents? Nope.
3) QOTW - What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving? Agree with PP. Canned jellied cranberry sauce.
Yesss, that is awesome, tarheels!! I get so much crap from ppl for loving it, and I don't care. Everyone assumes I just haven't tried "good" cranberry sauce, so they either share their recipe or make me some, and it's just...no.
We have a family recipe for tea cakes that are only made at the holidays. During the months of November and December, they are an acceptable breakfast for all of us ;D

1) Where are you in your cycle/ttc journey? either 5 or 6 weeks pg, depends on when I actually O'd, my cycle was really wonky the month prior... since I didn't temp this cycle, I have no idea what day I *actually* O'd, I just know I timed something right!
2) Any AWs/vents? I can't wait for my family to be here for Turkey Day! My sister and Mom are flying in from AZ with the kiddo's, my uncle and cousins are driving down, can't wait! The only bad part is hiding my pregnancy Because of the risk of loss (prior endo and surgeries) we want to wait to tell, but I have been pretty sick already.
3) QOTW - What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving? pie
1) Where are you in your cycle/ttc journey? 11-12 DPO in cycle 20?
2) Any AWs/vents? I had spotting yesterday and a headache today so I know that AF is about to start any day now. 3) QOTW - What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving?carrots and turnips mashed together. And I love homemade cheese ball my aunt makes with cream cheese, pineapple, green onion and nuts. Yum!

1) Month 15. CD 22 2) Just tired of TTC month after month. I am over it. 3) Stuffing!
Kara, I'm right there with you. It sucks.
We took a break this month. We're also starting to really look at what our life would be like w/o kids, and it seems pretty swell. This makes me wonder--am I destined to be a bad mom because we put a limit on how far we'd pursue medical assistance? If we've reached ambivalence, are we screwed? At least we're both on the same page of if we have kids, that's awesome, and if we don't, that's awesome.
Clearly this has been weighing heavy on my mind today.

We absolutely feel the same way. Don't think that because you're not willing to pursue heroic efforts that you're not a good person!
1: CD5 today, off to the doctor tomorrow 2: I hate the fact that you're only fertile a few days a month. I now see myself saying no to fun trips and stuff because they happen to be in fertile week and I don't want to run the risk of missing a chance. 3: Stuffing with chestnuts. yummmmmm, oh and pecan pie!
I am happy (I feel like a bitch for this though) that my friend is out for this cycle. Her an her bf only got back together after a month separation in aug an are already back TTC.
3) QOTW - What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving?
Im on CD 25 and my bewbs hurt like hell --I have to wear a bra to sleep! Ouch!
2) Any AWs/vents? Vent: I'm feeling anxious about the holidays coming up...all the stuff we need to get plus visiting those "family members" we have to put up with during the holidays...Lately, it's been really awkward with the inlaws feels like theres an elephant in the room.. I just don't want to be around them...but they definitely want us there with them during the holidays. My anxiety starts to build just thinking about what is to happen in the next few weeks....
3) QOTW - What is your favorite food at Thanksgiving? Too many to count! LOL
Ham Green beans Pumpkin pie Sweet potato pie buttermilk biscuits

Hugs sunflower, mrschicken, and everyone else who needs one.
For me, I think the ambivalence is a coping mechanism so the disappointment doesn't hurt as badly. IF is so, so unfair and I am sorry that anyone ever has to go through it and make these decisons. I wish you peace in whatever decision you and your H make.
2) I got my first ever OBVIOUSLY positive OPK this month! Without it, we would've missed the FW completely.
3) Thanksgiving is my friggin favorite! If I had to pick my absolute favorite food, I think I'd go with stuffing.
Radishes, 6th cycle twinsies! Could've written your #2 word for word. I feel like an asshole because so many people try so much longer - but I can't help the way I feel. ((hugs))
