DH and I like to check out away football games, and usually amek a long weekend out of it. This year we are flying to Atlanta for a game.
How do you tailgate at away games? any tips/ideas/gadget recs?
Usually we just get a sandwich and chips, but we miss out on the whole aspect it feels. I have a small crockpot and I was thining about getting a car outlet adapter and doing sausage peppers and oninons or something. We can buy the food there, but I don't want to buy a grill just to leave behind...

We've used these before. They are pretty wasteful, but if you can't pack a real grill these can be good. They won't cook more than a few hot dogs or a couple of burgers. You can always do cold sides or grab some warm ones at the deli.
Is there an Alumni Association party that you could go to there? Those make some of the best tailgating experiences. They typically have good food, games, and a fun group. We usually find a sports bar or friends from the area that have a regular tailgate.
