What do you pack in a carry on for 3 year olds? When we traveled by air in the past they were 1 and 2 and would bring crayons/coloring books, stickers, and dvd player which I plan on doing again this time. This time I plan on having them carry their own backpacks with their toys (of course I'll have a few surprise toys for the trip). I know they'll want to take everything but what works best do you find? I know to include the sippy cup and few snacks.
My husband and I will be carrying their change of clothes and ours, major snacks, dvd players, our own book, travel documents, toiletries/meds. I have told them the only toys they are bringing is what they can carry in their small backpack. I know on the cruise they won't need much with all the Disney activities.
I have also bought them travel dry erase pen activity packs at a book sale. Other ideas are much appreciated!
Your list sounds pretty good, actually! We took a trip recently with our kids (almost 2 and 4) and we took our iPad with new apps, and that got us most of the way. We didn't take toys. For my kids at least, a single toy does not contain them for long, and I'd rather not weigh down their back packs. We did stickers, a new notebook for stickers, crayons. Fun new snacks, like cheeze-it's with the letters on them was fun for my DS (who's almost 4).
