Turks & Caicos vs St Lucia

We have finally narrowed it down to two places that we'd like to go on vacation, either Turks & Caicos or St Lucia. Has anyone been to both & liked one more than the other? Or just if you have been to either place, what town and/or hotel did you stay in & any other suggestions about the island? Thank you.

Ok these are 2 of my favorite places and which ever one you choose you will LOVE!!!

St. Lucia we stayed at www.stonefieldvillas.com and absolutely loved it. I love the location (south)and the private pools. We also stayed at Ti Kaye village (north) it was also nice but preferred the south location. Love the lushness of the island. The beaches are not the tourquise water beaches that you may expect or want. Due to the volcanic ash the water is a deep deep blue...crystal clear just deep blue. There was also so many activites to do on the island.

T&C was beautiful the beaches were gorgeous!!! We stayed at Grace Bay Club and it was AMAZING! It is on Providencials. We did a couple of water activities but basically just vegged out and enjoyed the amazing beaches.

So, bottom line I would say if you are more active types do St. Lucia
if youd rather just sip and drink and get a tan...T&C
