My sister's ex-boyfriend said I looked like Jessica Biel. I also took one of those "upload your pic and we will tell you what celebrity you look like" websites. It also said Jessica Biel. I look nothing like her. Nothing. I don't get it. We both have big smiles but that's about it. Not to mention I sure as shit don't have her body.
Yeah I'm always mistaken for David Beckham or Brad Pitt. It's so annoying.

Steve Blake (Lakers). But I'm convinced the guy who says that thinks all white people look the same. He has to. Seriously. He fucking has to.
I can see why people say that, but I think it was more when you had your head shaved. Now I don't see it at all. People are crazy. (FYI, Ruben at work said that you look like him too. YWIA)
There was a girl my husband used to work with that was my younger, sweeter doppelganger. But this doesn't fit the thread because she did look just like me. It was creeeeepy.
Back when I had red hair, Gillian Anderson. I was told this all the time when I'd go to the UK.
I got this ALL THE TIME back in the 90s when I had red hair cut in a bob. When it was longer, curlier and red, I occasionally was told I looked like Kate Winslet in Titanic.
The only one I've been told recently is Susan Lucci. Who is a good 30+ years my senior. The culprit there is my 2 year old son, who for whatever odd reason will point to pictures of her and say "Das Mama!" We both have dark somewhat curly hair, about the same length, and that's pretty much where the similarities end, but if he sees her photo or even sees her on television, he points and says "Mama! Mama!" He's never done that with anyone else. Weird kid.
I don't think anyone has ever said that I look just like someone, except the random person that says "Oh, you look just like my neice/duaghter/sister ect"
When Triple H (WWF/E Wrestler) was popular I got that a lot.
Many many years ago when I first started at my current employer there was a group of women who called me Ben because I "look just like Ben Affleck" - it was nice of them to say but not quite true.
Funny, my husband used to get Ben all.the.time too. His niece saw him on tv once when she was little and was all "uncle ryan!" I NEVER saw it at all.
THe only celebrity Ive gotten is Jewel like 2 or 3 times ever. But I do NOT have a snaggle tooth! Really I get my one sister all the time. Random ppl come up to me around town and ask if Im her sister, we get confused at the gym we both go to etc. I don't think we look that alike at all other than coloring. Mannerisms are likely culprit.
i used to get molly ringwald all the time. ginger was the only resemblance. we poor gingers.
lately lauren ambrose. that's better.
but i have multiple dopplegangers out there. people are always walking up and starting conversations with me thinking i'm someone else. i have one of those faces, i guess.
In my thinner days I got Drew Barrymore a lot, and even I saw a slight resemblance. Then one time I got Kirsten Dunst. Didn't see that one, but I guess it's all in the cheeks.
Yes. But it's so embarrassing and makes me feel muy malo about myself.
I have one of those - and since I STRONGLY disagree with the assessment and it was 20 + years ago so I'm over the embarassment - I'll share.
A girl I knew in HS used to tell me I looked just like Mark Slaughter - front guy for the hair band Slaughter. She was a friend, so she wasn't saying it to make me upset, but the first time she told me I seriously cried. She would say "but he's sooo sexy." Umm. He's a dude. The first time I was at her house and saw her bedroom I noted the walls plastered with Slaughter pics so I that creeped me out a bit more. What's worse, being told you look like the lead singer of Slaughter or the friend who is telling you that having an enormous crush on said singer.
I'll note I graduated in 93' - so hair bands were still in style in the early 90's. I did sport the mall chick hair, that's about the only similarity I could find.
When I was maybe 18, I had an elderly woman come up to me and tell me I looked like Veronica Lake (I had her hairstyle). I definitely took that as a compliment! (obviously since I still remember it)
I also had people say I looked like Drew Barrymore. Also - Nicky Hilton.
DH's cousin said I looked like Sarah Jessica Parker. Huh... Hmmm...Ok, I'd take her body for sure (and her clothes). But otherwise not sure how I feel about that.
And, there's this cab driver that comes in where I work all the time and every time he tells me I look like Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel. I don't see it at all.
