1. What color(s) are your tree ornaments? This is the first year of us having a REAL TREE! (i.e. not a 4 foot tall tree that has no space for ornaments). I think it'll be a silver/red/white theme for our ornaments.
2. Do you have any hobbies/collections? I apparently am the crazy bird lady. I love ceramic birds and there is one in every room of my house (except the boys' room because THAT would be too much).
3. What style of ornaments are your favorite? (ex. artsy, handmade, modern, rustic ...) I'm not very picky. I don't care for the glass ones that are like frosted (I can't find the right words to describe them but they sell them at Hobby Lobby). I have 2 kids and a cat who climbs trees on the regular (well, used to -- she is indoors now) so I have avoided a lot of glass ornaments anyways.
4. When do you put up your tree? I am going to put it up as soon as we get reasonably settled and go buy one! Next year it will be December 1st or so.
5. Where does your tree go (i.e. living room, family room, kitchen ...) It will be in our family room area, which is open to the dining room and my sewing nook.
6. Would you prefer a cooking or baking recipe? Baking.
7. Are there any food allergies/preferences in your household? No food allergies. We are all pretty picky, but we love sweets. Chocolate especially. (Now I'm hungry.)
8. How easy should the recipe be? Not super easy but not super difficult.

3. What style of ornaments are your favorite? Probably dressy traditional. I love big balls (LMAO - I'm an 8 yo) with glitter or other artistic designs on them. Edit - big but not huge, ya know? just larger than those ones that come in the 12 pack.

4. When do you put up your tree? I'm not sure this year.

6. Would you prefer a cooking or baking recipe? Ooh, is this a choice? I'd love to get your #1 weeknight meal. (So long as it's something other than "open jar of spaghetti sauce, boil noodles" ). But I love to bake, too, so send whatever

7. Are there any food allergies/preferences in your household? I'm allergic to caffeine, so no tiramisu or recipes that call for coffee as an ingredient. Something suuuper chocolately, like a triple chocolate torte or something, I wouldn't be able to make either because of the caffeine in chocolate, but something like choc chip cookies is fine. (How do I survive? By being boring and going to bed at a decent hour lol.)

1. What color(s) are your tree ornaments? Red, green, silver, and white. I'm extraordinarily attached to these colors, too - to the point R teases me about it.

2. Do you have any hobbies/collections? I love to swim and I collect antique/vintage cookbooks - the more used the better.

3. What style of ornaments are your favorite? (ex. artsy, handmade, modern, rustic ...) I prefer handmade/art ornaments, traditional, or modern. Rustic really isn't my thing at all.

4. When do you put up your tree? Day after Thanksgiving.

5. Where does your tree go (i.e. living room, family room, kitchen ...) In this house, it goes in the living room, right in front of the windows.

6. Would you prefer a cooking or baking recipe? Baking, I think, but either is fine.

7. Are there any food allergies/preferences in your household? I'm allergic to mint or any kind. R won't eat any form of melon. Neither of us likes green peppers.

8. How easy should the recipe be? I'm okay with either complex or simple as a recipe. I consider myself a reasonably accomplished cook/baker.

3. What style of ornaments are your favorite? (ex. artsy, handmade, modern, rustic ...) I like elegant, artsy, rustic looks. I'm also a sucker for the animal ornaments at anthropologie (but won't actually spend that much on them). I like feathers and sparkles.

I tend to like snowen, glitter and mercury glassm not all in one, but a mixture.
