What are you using to host the pic? If it's on G+ or Facebook or something like that, switch from https:// to http://, that might help.

aw thanks guys (where is the cute embarrassed smiley? maybe + or something?)

a) I've never seen a pelican in person before, but this thing was seriously large. and totally unconcerned with us humans. it just walked around doing whatever and you could just hang there with it.

b) in all honesty, this was really great for us. my verbal-processing self loved having him all to myself to just talk and hang out all the time. every time we do this I realize how little we communicate on a daily basis and I already miss it.

oh and also, you people need to move Greece up on your list of future travel places! it's seriously wonderful and I would say pretty darn affordable considering everything (cheaper to fly there than Paris). Great food, nice people, gorgeous... oh and May really is the perfect month to go - great weather and no crowds.

is there a way to post pictures without uploading them to the internet? I have a funny one I'll post for you guys that isn't on facebook. and I could also create an entire thread dedicated to the pelican. tinypic 'saves' pictures, doesn't it? and makes them public?

you can upload to proboards..with the "attach" button. but i haven't read those terms yet.
