That is very suspicious. How does a dog get so severely burned in a backyard (notice they never say) and why did it take 2 trips to the vet to figure out how bad it was? Also, some how possibly needing months of sedation and 9 days later they are already changing bandages without sedation. I think this family is trying to rip people off with a made up sob story.
It is real! I went over to see the dog. Her paws were all wrapped up and the vet had sent her home for the weekend because they said that they thought she was feeling homesick. I felt so bad for the dog. I guess scout was running and just forgot about the fire pit and there were hot ashes in there. sad story. After seeing the pup I had to donate.
