I wish I was laid back enough to wait until the birth to find out but there's just no way! If one day we already have a boy and a girl and are having a third, I MIGHT be able to.
For names, we already picked out middle names with family significance (Lauren for girl, Fox for boy) but first names are a total toss up at this point.
Katie, you should be jealous of me then because the Dr at my first trimester screening offered to tell us and we said no way!
Adl, I sort of love Fox as a middle name.
Most of you know our girl name will be Beatrix. The only boy name we've even considered (so far) is Calder. I think both of those match with Grayson (current child).

I AM jealous!
Is Beatrix pronounced Bee-trix or Be-uh-trix? Like Beatrix Potter? I'm not sure if I pronounce that correctly. I have never heard of Calder before, but I think both of those go well with Grayson.
Bee-trix, although both are correct! We would probably just call her Bea. Calder means rocky waters, and also is the name of a hockey cup given out to the AHL champion.
ALZI. You know gender isn't the correct term, sex is. So what was I supposed to DO? Haha.
Yes, what is up with this. I remember hearing something about how gender is not the correct term, so I always say "sex." Although I really do not know why. I'm such a sheep. Enlighten me, please.
Sex is the biological term for the male or female anatomy you are born with. Gender is what you identify with (feminine or masculine).
Thanks, I thought it was something to this effect. I think if I happen to say gender instead of sex in the future I won't feel like a total dummy. I'm about as liberal and PC as they come, but I don't think the term gender is offensive, just maybe not exactly correct. Right?
We found out. We only had girl names picked, and it is a boy. After having 15 weeks of time to think of boy names, we decided on Grant Marshal Lastname. Marshal is my deceased grandpa's name, and h really likes the name, so we picked it for a middle name.
