1) We get out of work at 3:00

2) Traffic from work to home will suck as it takes me 45 mins on a good day, these type of weekends take me double, if not triple the time.

3) Memorial Day weekend was always the “start” of the Summer for me growing up (on Long Island). It meant beach days, pools opening, BBQ’s, and staying out later b/c the sun was up (at least till 8:30). This weekend, I will remain true to those traditions growing up. “C” and I are headed to my sister’s beach-house out East (Hamptons, Long Island), to do nothing, but bask in the sun and enjoy much needed R&R. We are headed out Saturday early afternoon, to avoid the craziness on the road starting today through tomorrow! Cannot wait.

Yes, not sure exactly but probably around 2:00

We are driving to Hot Springs, Arkansas. It's about a 3 1/2 hour drive

Everything about our trip! We're going to go to an amusement park and water park and overall have a great time!!

Also related to summer... I got my first spray tan today! Curious to see how I like it

1) Are you getting out of work early? What time? I'm not taking any PTO, but I might duck out a bit early...I'm not getting ANYTHING done today, and I don't envision that being any better tomorrow.

2) Are you traveling anywhere for the weekend? Car, plane, train, etc.? How long will it take you? I'm spending most of the weekend right in town, although I'm going up to D.C. for a trapeze lesson on Monday, so that will probably be ~3 hr. car ride, as opposed to the usual 2.

3) Share something that you look forward to doing this weekend? There's all sorts of good stuff going on this weekend! Movie night, BBQ, trapeze lesson...it'll be fun!

I'm working a full day today but I took tomorrow off.

2) Are you traveling anywhere for the weekend? Car, plane, train, etc.? How long will it take you? Yes, I'm driving to the Cape (about 2 hrs w/traffic) and then taking the ferry to Nantucket Island tomorrow (hour long ferry ride).

3) Share something that you look forward to doing this weekend?
Figawi weekend! It's technically a boat race that happens every Memorial Day, from Hyannis to Nantucket, but it's a huge party weekend. Lots of people and parties. Going with one of my BFF's and we're gonna have a blast!

Probably not because we are a service center that have to operate until 5pm.

I am taking my 20 months old ds with me and I am on crutches due to a sprained foot. We fly out at 8am and arrive in SC their time at 11pm. I am going to need lots of prayers to make it through this day.

Looking forward to seeing my dad and his wife, visiting SC for the first time. I have always wanted to check out Charletson and Myrtle Beach.

Nope, staying close to home!

DS wants to watch Men In Black 3, so we're watching 1 and 2 first, then heading to the movies to watch the 3rd! I'm also planning to build a fire pit in my backyard

Nope, I'm moving this weekend and pissed off that I'm wasting a holiday weekend by moving. I'm hoping to get at least a little relaxation in on Monday.

I don't know. Drinking? I'll have a drink to make up for the move. Hanging out with my brother - he's coming up to help me move.

We'll probably just tool around in the yard, maybe a cookout. Sounds like a good weekend to try the infamous cinnamon roll cake recipe so I can have a few glorious bites and pawn the rest off on everybody else:)

1) My office closes at 3. My boss is gone. And bf doesn't have to work so he is going to come take me to lunch. Should be an easy day.

2) Not really traveling anywhere unless you consider driving 30 minutes to Disneyland with my son on Saturday "traveling."

3) It's supposed to be nice here at the beach, so we may head down to the street fair that is there every year on Memorial Day weekend. Disneyland Saturday. Birthday party for one of my ds' friends on Sunday. The kind of snotty kid on my block that ds always wants to play with (they are friends from preschool, but other boy has grown into a bit of a bully and he drives me nuts ... I don't want my ds to think that kind of attitude will fly), is at his dad's house for the weekend so I don't have to worry about ds asking to play with said kid. Should be pretty mellow ... and after the month I've had, mellow is good.

2) Traveling? Yes, to work by car trying to bypass the race traffic - live/work in Indy.

3) Pizza and a beer tonight. Hopefully stumble upon a good netflix movie or something.
