This is my first post here, so hopefully I am doing it right! DH and I went on a "babymoon" when we were pregnant with DD three years ago, and now we are pregnant with our second. I thought it might be nice to do another trip (this time with DD) before the new baby arrives in June.
Does anyone have any family friendly suggestions that would be condusive to a 26ish week pregnant lady, her DH and a 2.5 year old?
We could leave from Baltimore, D.C. and even Philly if it made sense.
We would like something relaxing, but not just sitting on the beach all day (as DD wouldn't tolerate that). It can't involve too much walking (for my sake), but we would be open to exploring a cool town and doing some shopping, etc.
I wasn't 26 weeks pg at the time, but we took DD to Key West, FL when she was 2.5 and it was a great family vacation. I've taken her to Miami multiple times and she loves it there, too, between the Miami Sea Aquarium, the beach, and all the super-family friendly Cuban restaurants.
For our babymoon, we went to Madeira and I would go back there with DD some day, but it might be a lot further than you're up for.

Savannah would be a great place for your family. There is a beach nearby if you would like beach time. There is a great children's museum as well as many other museums. There are trolley tours that allow you to get on or off all day long. You can explore an area and then hop back on the next trolley to avoid walking around town. There are dolphin cruises. There is a children's theater. There are all sorts of shows. Savannah is a foodie town, so there are amazing restaurants all over town that are generally kid friendly.
