I tried the Hello Kitty eyeliner someone reco'd on here a week or two ago and it was a smudgy mess. I tried it two days in a row and it was equally smudgy and disappointing.
I got a sample of Dior's The New Nude foundation. I wanted to like it based on the initial effect, but I noticed that after it settles, it highlights every incipient sign of aging on my face. I seriously look about 10 years older with this foundation on.
The UD loose pigment eye shadows. Not particularly recent, but I bought a bunch of them when they were clearanced on the UD site. Hate. I can't figure out how to use them without looking like a fairy farted on my face.

Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Yes, it keeps my eye shadow on all day without creasing, which is what it's intended for. But OMG, I caught sight of my eyes in the mirror a few days ago after work and was horrified at how dry and crepey my lids looked. I'm wondering if I should try one of the other ones or just go without.

Really?! I found it so non-smudgey! I sharpen it like once a week with daily use.
I wonder if the quality varies...
Maybe. It glides on okay, but then smudges in no time.

You're using too much product. You just need a tiny bit on each lid, like the size of a mustard seed.

I am glad I am not the only one who felt this way. I ended up throwing them away b/c I looked like I was headed to a strip club.
Although fairy farting on my face reference made me ;D

Sent from my HTC Liberty using proboards
Maybe I need to use this under the Hello Kitty liner. But my Makeup Forever liner stays put without shadow insurance...

Haha. I would put some of the shadow on the back of my hand & use a brush. But yeah...I haven't used them in over a year :-p I forgot I had them til I got my mujis. They were buried in the bottom of my train case.
I purchased it at the sephora f&f and i tried it yesterday and I hated it, it was clumpy and I hated the way it felt on my eye, something about the formula.
Also cle de peau concealer, creased on me like crazy. I used it a few wars back when it was in the blue tube and loved it, they say there was no change in the formula, but it's def not the same on me. Still on the hunt for a good concealer.
Benefits eye bright is meh too. In fact, other than my beloved Big beautiful Eyes Palette (which I hit pan for the second time, I freaking use it all the time), I'm not a fan of everything else I've bought by them.
I'm not a big Benefit fan at all. Any brand that scents their blush really gets a thumbs down from me, even if the product is amazing.
Nooo. I love Burberry blush, scent & all.
Not Burberry too! I've never bought one of their blushes, but had a few on my wishlist at Nordstrom.
*sad panda*
I can't tell you how disappointed I was when I realized that Chanel scented their blushes. I mean, it's not a bad scent at all, but if I want to smell or smell like something I'll just wear perfume. I don't need six different scents from various cosmetics competing against one another on a daily basis.

I want to like eye bright but I feel like maybe I am using it wrong? Either way it just sits in my drawer.
I actually did love it when I had the Confession of a Concealoholic set. It wasn't a pencil there and I used a little brush. Maybe that that is my problem.
Ok, reading the reviews, people apparently use it under their eyes? I thought it was for the inner corners only, for some reason. So maybe I'm using it wrong. I'll have to try tomorrow.

It seems to dry for that. I've had no success either.

Right? It's like trying to blend out eyeliner on my under eye area. It doesn't make sense.
As long as we're sharing Benefit tips, I found that "They're Real" is less clumpy if you apply it with a sideways-ish motion. It's hard to explain, but the directions in the "She's So Jetset" set make sense after seeing someone at Sephora do this application.
