Confession - I already know I am going to annoyed with friends trying to be helpful during my pregnancy by telling me what not to eat, how I should change my work out regimen, etc etc. It's already happening and only a few of my friends know I'm pregnant! (I'm 6 weeks)
I am looking forward to buying the stroller the most. Can't wait to go test drive them with DH!!
I do have a decent amount of stuff from last time but I'm SICK of it already and I haven't even put it on. Plus I was massive during the summer last time, and I wasn't really pregnant at all over winter and not showing in the spring (and pretty much all of my friends who gave birth in the last year all had summer babies too, so no winter maternity clothes), so I don't have very many warm things.
Also I love my Bumbleride stroller the most, for those of you who are undecided! But I don't like their double. So I'm excited to buy a new stroller. I think we're getting the City Select double.
On a smaller scale, I hope our baby likes those sling carriers because I want one with a cute pattern.
Skip the Seven Slings. Yes, they're "free", but they're useless. Get something decent - a mei tai, an Ergo or similar, a ring sling. There are zillions of pretty ones.
Confession: I feel enormous. ENORMOUS. I went and tried to get a cute maternity dress at Target... OMG. I looked like I'm ready to pop. I was kind of horrified. I'm not that far along! I am going to be huge.
A friend who doesn't know I'm pregnant invited me out for drinks. I initially accepted, but I just switched to declined because I had a shitty day and I don't want to go out with her tonight... she's one of those friends who takes a lot of energy to be around. I just want to stay home and read my book. The bar she picked is an hour away.
GTKY: Erm... more cloth diapers? We already bought the crib and the stroller, which were the two things I was most excited about and did RIDICULOUS amounts of research on. City Mini GT, btw. Adore it. I switched from the City Versa because it doesn't lay flat.
I feel like a McD's diet coke and med fries should on the menu as "maternity special" lol.
My H and I are going to a shmancy fundraiser tonight and I'm in that in-between /just-look-thick stage. I didn't want to buy anything for my current size, so I'm attempting to squeeze into and old dress. Wish me luck.
