Like parabens, sodium laurel sulfate, lead in lipstick, etc.?
If you do, what products do you use? I'm seriously thinking of switching out some of my products in favor of more "safe" cosmetics, especially lotions and that I rub all over body and face. What should I be watching for?
I tried the online cosmetic database, and it seems pretty outdated. Any other good resources?
Honestly, there are so many other things I'm exposed to at work that my skin care contents aren't a huge concern. If I'm going to die of cancer, it's probably due to chemical exposure that happened during my undergrad years.
I've waivered between caring and not. I currently use Korres mascara which is fairly safe, but I use Bare Minerals for most of the rest. Also, in Shanghai, this is very very difficult, I'd have to bring all the stuff with me in my suitcases which is pretty much impossible.
I'm down to mostly Tarte, Urban Decay, Burt's Bees, Origins and Trader Joe's stuff. Also some Lush and Josie Maran. I think this is as close as I can get, and I'm not even sure how great these options are. I'm too vain to go completely crunchy granola.
