I've got about 40 pages left in Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey. It's really interesting. And it makes me want to go to England asap...
Stupid question (that I could probably Google more quickly than posting): is this book related to the Downton Abbey TV series? If so, which was first?
It's about the house the show is filmed in/sort of based on, and the Crawley's contemporaries. The family was really fascinating (the Earl at the time was part of the team that discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun). I think it came out late last year, so after the show increased Highclere's visibility.
I'm reading A Game of Thrones : A Song of Ice and Fire the first one and have about 150 pages to go. I am absolutly loving this book and have not been able to put it down.
