I would be okay with 6 hours. Probably a bit engorged, but nothing horrible. You could always hand express if you get uncomfortable. I would pump as soon as you get home or in the car.

iPad? Shaun the Sheep is great for little ones too.
Geez, I just saw he's only 9months. DD loves a bowl and a spoon right now. She likes to bang them together. Can you give him a water jug and some tongue depressors?

1. depends on your kid. Be flexible and try to get out and walk in the sun as much as you can. Supposedly the body acclimates better when you walk in the sun.
2. swim diaper, rash guard had and sunscreen. Bring sunscreeen with you- preferably a sun BLOCK SPF 50 or higher. Apply regularly.
3. bring something that he recognises. pillowcase, lovey, paci, whatever. Something he knows well. go to KMark and get some sand toys and always bring a change of clothes to the beach or pool so he isn't in wet clothes longer than he needs to be. DS gets upset if he's in wet clothes.
Otherwise, be flexible and attentive to what he needs and enjoy! Big Island is beautiful!

1. How long have you been together? 10 years
2. How long were you together before you said "I love you"? 6 months
3. How long were you together before you lived together? Did you "unofficially" live together before that? 2.5 years. I would spend the night at his house sometimes, but other than that, no.
4. When did you first have the "I want to spend the rest of my life with you" conversation? no idea
5. How long did you date before getting engaged? How long were you engaged before being married? 2 years, 3 years
6. How did you know this was the person you wanted to be with forever? I couldn't imagine life without him.
7. What's your favorite thing about your H/SO? sense of humor, honesty.
She got a call from the Ellen show yesterday morning saying that Ellen had seen it and wanted it on the show. Yesterday afternoon, they got a call from Good Morning America!
OMG, infant & toddler rates for DC here have jumped since we last looked in 2010. The nearest Bright Horizons is now $2350/ month before extras (catered lunch, dance, music, etc.). We paid $1800/month for the same services. If we go with this option, it mean we'll be spending over $3100/month on child care and preschool tuition before any extra perks.

DH and I are supposed to go on this crazy around the world trip in July. (There was an epic thread about it a while ago. People thought we were crazy for trying to fit so much into 12 days.)
I'm so torn on it. I want to go because I think the adventure would be fun. But I just can't imagine leaving my kids for 12 days at this point. Especially DD. She'll be 15 months when we go. I just can't imagine missing so much time with her at that age. I know it's crazy.
I finally talked to DH about it last night and he's feeling the same way. I just worry that we'll regret not going. We're definitely going to go somewhere, but maybe for 6 days, not 12.

Ours is next week, but I know her stats because she had an ear infection last week.
4/19 baby- 29.5 inches (90th) 20lbs (85th)
Pulling up and cruising. She climbed up our outside steps yesterday. Loves bath time. Signs all done. Says Kee for cat and mama. Generally a very happy baby, but still a sucky sleeper. We're doing CIO.
Likes all food except rice cereal and bananas.
2 teeth with at least one top one trying to come through as well.
