1. none 2. I can't pinpoint just one thing. Probably some sort of warm chocolatey dessert with ice cream. 3. Yes. The prom itself was pretty lame but a bunch of my friends went ballroom dancing at a senior center first (long story), and that was incredible. 4. my dad 5. I am constantly running into walls and I have a habit of running into doors before I actually open them. 6. Nope 7. Trader Joe's 8. We don't have these types of lists, but H knows I have a crush on Matthew McConaughey, Darius Rucker, and Adam Levine.

I had a shitty day at work. We had a couple of bad cases where the pet owners were ignorant and/or uncaring. It broke my heart a million times. I cried at one point.

We moved across the country from our hometown (two weeks after we got married) because I got accepted to a specialized school program. Now we are willing to move where a job opens up. wherever it is, it will likely not be near our families.

1. finding a job (that I like) in my field 2. finding said job in an area where my husband can also find a job 3. finding said job in an area where I would like to live
I did this once (texted someone saying "Ugh, M is such a bitch" and of course sent it to M - probably served me right ) and it made me forever paranoid, so now I triple check texts and emails before hitting send.
I've done exactly this. I felt horrible about it. Luckily the friendship with this person was fizzling out, because this certainly ended it.
ETA: I always used to send my friend, C, texts meant for my husband because they have the same name. It was never anything embarrassing. It happened so much that I finally changed my husband's name in my phone to "husband"

I'm working the night shift today, and I'm not looking forward to it. 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. The shift itself isn't hard, but switching from days to nights randomly like this really messes with my sleep and food schedule. Luckily I have two days off before I have to go back to day shifts.

Nope. We have a koi pond in our backyard, but it is empty right now. Even with a net over the top of it, the raccoons kept eating the koi. They ripped right through the net. We gave up on it. Good luck, though, because they are beautiful and soothing.

I think it's pretty cool. There was a similar situation at a previous job of mine. A new girl started with the same first name and spelling. Her last name started with the same letter. When we initialed stuff our initials looked exactly the same. She was getting married the week after me. She had the same wedding dress, and our wedding dress was not a very popular one. She also had the same birthday as me except I was four years older. It was cool and creepy at the same time.
This book sounds interesting. I have Thursday off...hmmmm a book reading might be fun!
I second A Short History of Nearly Everything. It is one of my (mostest ) favorite books. I've read a few of Mary Roach's books and they are funny and interesting.

Here has been my experience working at vet clinics. It may be able to clear up some of your questions.
Most vet clinics have set drop off surgery times in the morning so that all of the stuff associated with anesthetic procedures (paperwork, pre-anesthetic blood work, IV catheters, etc) can be dealt with before routine appointments start showing up. Once appointments start things can get very busy very fast, so it's easiest (though not on the pet parents ) and most efficient to have all of that taken care of in the early morning. Having early drop off times also guarantees that animals aren't accidentally given food/water before surgery. The surgeries are then performed with the more urgent or complicated surgeries and anesthetic cases going first and the more routine, less anesthetic risk patients going last.
Rest assured that most dogs do very well while waiting for surgery. All the clinics that I have worked at have given pre-anesthetic drugs at some point before surgery that have some effects during surgery (I'm drawing a blank right now, but I believe help keep the heart rate up while under anesthetic), but they also help calm the animals and make them sleepy.
I'm not sure what happened yesterday with the late drop off. Maybe they had a cancellation and would have been able to fit her in yesterday? I'm sorry you are worried about your kiddo. I bet she's doing great!!!! She will be happy to see you when you go pick her up. What kind of surgery is she having?

The story was entertaining, but at the same time the *schtick*, for lack of a better word, is getting kind of old. I really enjoyed the first two Robert Langdon books. I love puzzles, secret societies, and secrets. The last two Robert Langdon books have just seemed to not have as much originality. Robert Langdon ends up in some far off place (Washington D.C is far off to me ), he discovers a mystery, finds a pretty girl, enlists pretty girl to help him on his mystery, solves the mystery, etc. I guess the same could be said of all the courtroom fiction books I read, though. For some reason the pattern in the Langdon books has gotten predictable and slightly boring. That being said, I'll read every book Dan Brown publishes.
***I tried to use language below that will get my point across without spoiling anything. No promises, though.****
I really enjoyed the premise of the ending. It was interesting to think about that being a possibility. How it would help so many things, but how it would hurt so many. I like a book that is going to make me think and make me slightly uncomfortable while I am doing the thinking.
With every fiber of my being I'd want to keep the purple sticker, but I know I'd change it out for the yellow one in the end. I'm just no good at breaking the "rules" in real life. Much to my H's amusement (and sometimes irritation).
I voted to keep it because that is what I would REALLY REALLY want to do. In the end, though, the above describes me exactly.
