Yes. Although, I did hear a song in Costco the other day with lyrics like "Mary did you know that this child that you delivered will soon deliver you."

Also, Darius Rucker, "It Won't Be Like This For Long", because that is what I danced to with my dad at my wedding, and he was so touched by it he cried. So now I cry, lol.
Can you link to patterns? I'm knitting a blanket for my son for college and I'm doing strips of different patterns that I'm stitching together, and I'd like to try the ivory one-- I think it's your nephew's blanket.
Damn! I learned about the same time you did and am nowhere NEAR the expert you are! Nice job!!!
Also- I'm dying at the "shark" for your grandma. Lol
Lol, oops! Should be shawl, ha.
Thanks everyone! I've been a bit... obsessed id's what my h would call it, but I like to think of it as determined, lol. YouTube is extremely helpful when learning!

My mil.
A blanket for my baby nephew.
My sil.
My bil. I fucked up the bottom of this one.
And a shark for my grandmother.
I have a scarf blocking right now for my h's grandmother and am working on a scarf for my brother and then I am DONE!

Where do you get your yarn? Local craft store? Online?
If online, where do you shop? I hit KnitPicks when they were having a huge sale, but it doesn't look like they have a large selection - are there any other recommendations for online yarn?

I LOVE George Winston. The version of Carol of the Bells on that album is my favorite ever. I also used his version of Canon in D to walk down the aisle. He reminds me of my mom.

Whoa, didn't mean to get your hackles up. I just didn't know where he was during the confrontation. That was pretty risky, but I'm glad you're okay and have more information to give the cops.
I was completely on your side, until you said the above. I still think the comment was rude/disrespectful. However, how do you expect people to take 'my H has a temper'??
What I meant was that some husbands are not as protective, and would be like "oh some guy called you a name? Well I'm just going to ignore it because I'm scared". And that's not my DH, at all. He wouldn't be happy to hear about someone being disrespectful to me, especially in front of our kids. If our 5 year old said "daddy what's a puta? Some guy said that to mommy" he wouldn't be ok with that.
I can't keep posting today! I have to get my house clean and crack open multiple bottles of cheap wine!
