Deepening a foundation color for summer

Has anyone tried to add the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi to their foundation to deepen the color? I'm going to be self tanning and was wondering if that would be a good option to deepen my current foundations so I don't have to buy new ones. I heard it mentioned on a YouTube video and was curious if anyone here has tried it.

Yes! You only need the tiniest bit so add less than you think you'll need and go from there.

It works pretty well if you need more than a 1 shade difference, imo.

Been custom mixing my foundation for decades. My skin color can change dramatically from season to season.

I have D-Bronzi and I love it. In addition to the color, it gives you a really nice luminous-looking glow. I mix it with my normal moisturizer to basically make a tinted moisturizer.

I did end up buying D-Bronzi and love it. It's nice not to have to buy a new color just for summer. I rarely ever even wear makeup these days.
