DS is graduating from 6th grade next month, and needs to wear dressy clothes (shirt & tie, some boys wear full suits, etc)
I'd prefer to take him somewhere to try stuff on rather than order online. He hasn't needed dressy clothes since our wedding in '16, so I haven't paid attention to whether stores have boys dress clothes on display. Any recommendations?
Our local Walmart has dress clothes, in store, for boys. Since my son wears them so rarely, I didn't want to spend a ton on it. Dress pants, dress shirt and tie.

My ds is ridiculously skinny, so I bought him dress pants, a matching jacket, and a dress shirt for both his confirmation and then 9th grade homecoming at Target of all places because they had them in store and the pants still had adjustable waists. The quality was actually better than the one I had ordered from JC Penny and returned too (those pants were practically see-through they were so thin). I think their sizes only go up to 14, but at 5'2 and 90 lbs, that's what fits my 14 year old.
I was going to suggest Belk, but that's a store more in the south than PA. I think the PA equivalent might be Boscov's. Man, my mom loves that store and misses it (they used to have a house in PA but sold it a few years ago).
What size is he? DS has a skinny waist with an otherwise fairly average build. He is about 20-25th percentile for height, and wears a size 10 in boys clothing. We really like the khakis and button up short sleeve white and light blue shirts from Children's Place. You can buy them on Amazon. Old Navy also fits my son well, and we like their khaki and khaki/rust colored pants that have rivets like jeans. They are incredibly comfortable.
For belts, he likes Nautical from Amazon.
Bowties: also Amazon. We like to do the white or pale blue shirts with navy bowties. I wish he would wear a fun one like a Vineyard Vines golden retriever printed bowtie. haha
Shoes: we always just have him in clean sneakers... Their feet grow so fast, and he rarely needs to truly dress up, so I won't buy dress shoes unless he's, say, in a wedding.
Children's Place has great prices on boys dress clothes, and goes up to size 16 or 18. Truly worth looking into, because their basics don't look any different than higher end brands.
