We have a Girl Scout event tonight. The girls will be making brownie mix. I have done before and plan to do the variation on the box where you make two packages together and bake them in a 15 x 10“ pan. Which I think would be fine. But it wouldn’t be a bad thing to have more brownies. I could bring a separate pan and just do another batch. But just curious if anyone knows of a pan size that works to make three family Sz boxes of mix together and bake in one pan. For some reason I’m not having luck with Google.
Could you hit up the dollar store and just get three disposable pans?
I like this idea. You don't want too large because they would cook too fast and not be too high. Too small would be thicker and take longer to cook. But both ultimately would be OK as long as you are keeping an eye on it and making sure it doesn't burn.
I think if you went to the dollar store you could sort of eyeball the next 1-2 sizes up from your pan and see if that would work.
I would definitely just go get three foil pans rather than taking a chance at guessing. I’d be afraid they’d burn on the edges before the middle was baked…
Three disposable pans was a good idea. In the end, my coleader and I decided that doubling the family-size and doing in the 15 x 10 will be plenty for our group tonight.
We just won’t send any home with them which is saving us some extra hassle anyway.
