I listen to Pandora at work. I am too cheap to pay for the no ads version, so every once in a while I listen to commercials. This is no big deal. However, one of the most common ads that comes up is one for Adam&Eve. Despite the actual company not being work appropriate, the voice is a sexy female voice - extremely not work appropriate. Is there a way to block just that particular ad from coming up? I know that I could just mute it when it comes up, which I do. But there is also a huge banner that is on the side of the site until the next commercial.
Hahahaha, I emailed them about this yesterday!!!! Let me get you the email reply they sent this afternoon. Funny, I just read it before checking in here.

This is the email I got, which is actually pretty cool considering that I don't pay for it either:
Thanks for writing and for the feedback. I've noted your complaint for our Advertising team. You are a valuable part of our listening audience, and we respect your opinion.
We also understand that certain material can be sensitive ground. In fact, a good majority of our campaigns elicit some level of protest from listeners. Everything from credit cards and alcohol to fast food and political candidates offend certain listeners' sensibilities or beliefs. We recognize that while there are occasional judgment calls still required, we feel strongly that we should not be in the business of censoring.
I have a couple suggestions you might find helpful. The first is to restrict Pandora from playing songs with explicit content. When you do that, you not only remove songs with explicit lyrical content, you also remove some ads that are targeted "away" from people who have demonstrated an aversion to explicit content, so this option would remove some that might offend you.
To set the explicit filter on the web, click on the "account" link in the upper-right corner of the Pandora home page. There, you should see "Allow explicit content?" Click on "edit" and, in the next window, choose "NO. Do not allow explicit content."
You will also be given the option to protect this setting with a PIN code. This is not required, though.
You might also consider subscribing to Pandora One. This is our premium, advertising-free version. It's only $36/year and has no advertising at all. It also streams at a higher quality and comes with a number of benefits you might find attractive. You can learn more about Pandora One here: www.pandora.com/one
I hope this is helpful, and I hope you understand the approach we have taken.

Wow, this is really helpful! I haven't had any weird ads, but some explicit songs do come up when I'm at work & I have to quickly change. Now I don't have to worry!
