Please tell me this is normal........

My 19 month old LO is being a HUGE crybaby the past few days. He crys about everything: getting a diaper, eating, going to bed, getting into the car, being told to play, being told to not play. I know he is working on a tooth that is really painful for him (he is constantly chewing/saying ouchie). But aside from that, is it just an age thing?

He normally goes to bed at 7pm. He is still awake. He's come back out twice (he said he was hungry, did not eat well today, and ate both times), but was put down to sleep again. He is currently up because he was crying bloody murder.

Motrin is my best friend lately....for everyone

DD is the same recently, I think it's the age and the teeth combo here too. Hand washing, shoes, socks, putting coats on, taking the coat off, not standing up when I hold her, all are cause for rage. Her sleep has gone to hell. I'm just hoping it passes soon.

Well, if it doesn't pass soon, you'll be in good company. He just ate AGAIN, and DH is attempting to get him down. *Fingers Crossed*

I think it's normal, but that doesn't mean it sucks any less.

I don't have an answer, but we are going through that right now at 22 months. It's been about a week. He runs to his bed, gets in and lays down with a smile at bedtime and then 2 minutes after I close the door is screaming bloody murder. I'm hoping it will pass soon.
